They brought new characters like California who I liked very much liked initially but hated when they increased his screentime. Did you know that Cornell is actually closer to Scranton than to Stamford? From Ithaca, NY (where Cornell is located) to Scranton, PA is like 80 miles, while Ithaca, NY to Stamford, CT is like 180 miles away. Considering Stamford was the first branch of the paper company Andy worked at, I wonder why after graduating he didn't seek a job in Scranton which is much closer to his school but went all the way to Connecticut, and eventually had to move back closer to Scranton anyway.

He grew a lot in seasons 4-8, then crashed for most of season 9, but was a lot better in the finale.
