I work in the Savannah plant and it is amazingly accurate especially as a RC aircraft hand built!! Nice job 👍🏼

This is pro level work, it's truly craftsman ship and state of art, extremely unmatchable work, building a rc aircraft like so much detail, it's next to impossible
Everything was fabulous, the build, the craftsmanship, the detail, the filming and finally the flight.
The landing was a nice save, almost disastrous for such a wonderful build.
So I first thought AWESOME someone finally made a g650 RC, now I can afford one, then a third of the way thru video I realized I would still have to refinance my house to own this thing lol. Very awesome job ! I am most certainly impressed, absolutely gorgeous bird.
It's amazing what 3d printing has done for this community, those molds would have taken so incredibly long to make by traditional methods, let alone the aircraft itself. What an awesome job. The thing I love about this community is there isn't one single plane made that doesn't have a few models of itself flying around too, every design always gets a little love, if not a lot.
What I find most intriguing and fascinating is the installation of the electronic systems!

Being able to cut straight lines just by hand with a Dremel tool is quite an impressive skill! Guess it significantly reduces the time you spend building your models!
Sometimes you can put a piece of angle or square tubing on the part to rest your thumb on (like a table saw fence) and it guides the cut. Or just have skills
I wish I could like this numerous times. The amount of skill on display is awe inspiring.

This in my opinion is one of the best vids I've ever seen. I was enthralled the entire movie. I even squealed on take off and landing.
I would love to build one and I was so happy you installed cameras in it. I was hoping the whole build to myself,put cameras in put cameras in. Yay he did. Next would be a seat for a mouse to strap in and fly in it( jokes) but the kid in me wants to lol.

When my son was about 11 years old he entered a Jaycee Relay Race. He’d never ran track before and didn’t know everybody wore shorts. He came in jeans, to everyone’s amusement. He ran the last leg for his team - and came away the fastest runner of the day, and made up considerable distance to win. This video made me think of that day. How I wish I had been able to see it, instead of only hear and read about it. I was a single mom and had to work. My son was an amazing athlete. ❤️

Why did you decide to build the wing out of foam rather than carbon fibre/fibreglass?
i was thinking about that, the only thing i could really think of was that the plane may have been too light with carbon wings but idk🤷🏻♂️
Foam veneered wings are easier to make (no mould required) and in many cases are lighter than a composite wing. This is a fairly simple wing and I doubt there would have been a benefit to moulding one.
WOW!!! I'm a Gulfstream fanatic and I've yearned to see a G4, G550, or G650 R/C aircraft for years! It's about time I found a sweet R/C bizjet! Now I need to go looking for my other favorite... a Lear 35! Kudos to you Mr Gulfstream builder. Killer job. I am in awe!!!

Not really. That looks nothing like an actual Gulfstream in flight. It's a paper airplane in comparison because it's weight to mass ratio is not even close to an actual aircraft. That's why it bounces around in the air like a leaf. It's a gorgeous model but looks much better on the ground.

i don't think he uses enough bespoke metal parts to make it worth the investment but im not sure
@@JoseRodriguez-ey7ju it can be used to rout anything, wood, pvc, metal, plastic. It can machine all the wing spars, also they’re a lot more affordable than they use to be.

6 months to build, 1 second to crash and burn.
Yea I struggle to put to much time in simple depron builds ... But my oldest plane is from 2014. Crashed it streight into the ground 2018 or so. But had only to replace the depron fuselage with hot glue and tape. Took 20 minutes
But he didn’t crash it. He’s the sort of modeller who doesn’t let that happen. Diligent with installation, redundancy and preflight checks.
@@Lozzie74 hate to be the one to inform you, but I don't believe a modeller who never crashes or breaks his model actually exists. Environmental issues are out of his control, not to mention sometimes shit just happens. _

i think he buys and heavily modifies his STLs from others, so it’s unlikely. There are several good series for designing rc airliners fusion 360
