I’ve been rescuing and caring for All Animals my Entire Life- But, Just Bc you Can Legally Own Many of these Exotic Animals, It DOESN’T mean that you should- And, How are these animals Acquired? Besides Many Other Traumatic situations, Some are stolen from their habitat and their Mothers WAY Sooner than they should be and will have a Lifetime of medical and emotional problems- Problems that Most People can’t properly deal with- So, The poor animal DOES NOT get the care that he/she Needs- Anyways, This is a Very Heartwarming video- But, I’d just like people to maybe look at it from a different perspective- Lastly, There are PLENTY of domesticated animals that Desperately Need a Loving Home- Ok, Since I’m sure that I’ve annoyed enough people, I’ll Shut Up now……..
I know i'm 2 years late, but i just saw the title of the video and click right away, ready to be mad at it without even watching it, and you are the first comment i see and it reassured and calmed me down. I'm glad people reacted the same way i was about to. Exotic animals should live in the wild and that's IT 😭immo that entire video should just be deleted.
Let's leave the exotic animals in the wild where they belong...I don't think putting them in cages and lots of different people poking at it is gonna make it happy.
I love seeing all the cute creatures. I just think these kind of videos perpetuate wild animals taken away from where they should be. "Fad" animals usually lead to sad animals because most people don't know what they are really getting into.
I really do love any and all animals. Some shouldn't be kept as pets. The illegal pet trade is killing off more animals then you know. If you really want something different get a bird, or fish. Maybe a ground hog or prairie dog. But please stop ringing those little tiny primates into your house dear still endangered now
I don't need an exotic pet. I'd probably grow some gardens for Bees, Chipmunks, Hedgehogs, and even Hummingbirds. I would want to own a small non-avian dinosaur as a pet.
I don’t like seeing wild animals as pets, it’s just wrong. If they are in care due to being unable to live in the wild then I understand that, and that’s ok as long as the people caring for them know what they are doing and can give them the right care they need. I think we have enough domesticated animals as pets. Wild animals should be in the wild, bottom line. We as humans cannot mimic what they need fully and I’m sure if given the choice, they would choose to be where they are supposed to be. Not to mention the cruelty that occurs in the illegal trade as demand rises when humans selfishly want them as pets….it’s not ok.
I really really love foxes!! I want a fennec fox as my pet. Even better a Canadian Marble Fox!! My favourite animal. My most exotic pets are caterpillars, mantises, grasshoppers and kadidids. So yeah although I keep two dogs but I also really love insects.

I had a Female and Male Pygmy Hedgehog. I can say they are low maintenance pet. They had 4 hoglets and out of the 4 hoglets I kept the Albino baby and she was very sweet. Everytime I put my hands on her bin she always hops on my hand cause she knows its bonding time.

I own a asian palm civet named "Sly" I made him a little house with a ladder on the roof. They are really helpful . They eat almost anything(Bugs, snakes, snake eggs)

my family used to have a pigmy marmoset and she was very sweet, (most of the time unless you made her mad lol) she'd hide in my hair or sweaters and just was so cute. sadly she passed away due to old age.

I worked for a doctor who opened tigers, but he hired an entire team of specialists who cared for them. It was one of his homes out of the country. He had pics of them all over the office, they were his family bc he never had a wife or kids. He donated his life to medicine and wild animals I guess. Aside from that a friend of my niece had sugar gliders. I would love to have a finger monkey, but I’m not equipped to take care of them. Medical field is busy and I’m not home enough to even have a dog lol. But it would be cool.

You can check how they were sourced, a lot of exotic pets are captive bred, not all are wild caught.
