Here's some background for the video/lore.
Dirge: Based off of Vampires, Dirge live in the catacombs and my mining tunnels of the peaks. They feed off blood and are wildly vicious with little self control. They have navy skin and hair. When chasing a specific target, they have the ability to shift into Shadows and phase through most objects.
Terrians: Terrians are essentially dwarves. They are kept captive in the mines, forced to work gather gems and precious metals. They are a completely male species. They are spawned from certain gems when found.
Backstory: The Dirge keep the Terrians captive, not only using them for work but feeding off their blood. When a Terrain gets even the smallest cut while working, they will be immediately pursued by the nearby Dirge and killed for food. This is why the miner became so panicked.
