@@johneastwood3039 That place at the start from where Dickie Davies is announcing what wrestling match is coming on is Wembley Stadium. He was there in 1982 for the FA Cup Final in this clip. The stadium would be used for the WWF's SummerSlam '92 in 1992, a decade later.
you hear stories about big daddy not being very nice to some kids.who knows if its true or not on the other hand haystacks was a gentle man outside of the ring who had time to stop and chat with everyone a big softie really
When I was kid, I spent years trying to get Big Daddy’s autograph. Eventually my mum caught Brian Crabtree and he took it to the back and came back with it signed. A few years later I actually got him to sign in person, so yeah he wasn’t particularly personable. Rasputin on the other hand, the great big bully, signed my book without hesitation
Walsh was one of the first to talk about the other side of wrestling including blading with a razor, & challenging Daddy to a real fight, he regreted blowing the whistle later.

Marvellous Big Daddy👍.Shoving them from one end to the other. Beautifully done
Akira Maeda and Big Daddy, polar opposites of wrestling.
Daddy, loved punishing "Banger Walsh"-great stuff.
Brannigan should have got a public warning for the colour scheme on his outfit
Glad I'm colour blind 😊😊😊
Quick kick took big daddys style back to japan and started strong style
Rerun World or sport on ITV 4 in full like it was back in the day on a Saturday Wrestling @ 4om
two years too late but very little of the studio links survive at all for World of Sport
Great vaulting technique by Banger @1:05 !
unorthodox pin at 7:06
Ten years later it would be the wrestling itself that would be taking place at Wembley Stadium, not just Dickie Davies' links #summerslam92
What do you mean by that?

Every kid in the UK loved Big Daddy and wanted his autograph. Which made it more difficult.
hoost v big daddy
レスラーが大きいので、リングが狭く見えるねぇ。😅
Did Big Daddy ever sell to anyone?
前田さん若くてかっこいいね。
やっぱりプロレスは楽しくなくちゃ。

Big daddy has a big Fupa.
Ronald McDonald and Banger Sausage get a grilling from Big Daddy. Did you want Brown Sauce as well?

I wonder whether Walsh ever got his piles fixed (or perhaps it was in his genes to walk like an orang utan).
Walsh was one of the first to talk about the other side of wrestling including blading with a razor, & challenging Daddy to a real fight, he regreted blowing the whistle later.
WTF? What the hell kind of wrestling gear is that one guy wearing? Geesh, looks like they filmed it in my basement.
It'll be the badminton courts of some leisure centre, or the main meeting chamber of a town hall.
Got it in a charity shop
Another bout taking less than 10 minutes - lol.
Daddy was wastevof time could not wrestle sat on his tag rope was crap
Big Daddy was a good wrestler until he realised he didn’t need to be anymore
He was over though.
He didn't need to do fancy moves to win. Plus his opponents would try to keep his partner in the ring as much as possible.
