- In this week's episode we check into the amazing Discovery Park in Clare, South Australia. The park is set right amongst the beautiful wine region of the Clare Valley. Have a look around the park and some of the local wineries with us. We get our animal fix with some of the local emus and the gorgeous winery dog Chino.
We love Clare. We usually take our bikes down the Riesling trail. ❤❤❤. Looks like you are having fun. We just left SA going north for winter just past the border in NT. ❤❤
Hi, safe travels to you. Great idea heading north for the winter. We saw the sign for the Riesling trail, that would be a bit of fun riding the bikes to the different wineries. 🥂
My sister lives in Clare and I visit often. That dog is so cute at that bakery. There’s also a 3 legged cat, did you see it?.. safe travels x
What a beautiful place for your sister to live and for you to be able to visit. We loved Clare. The dog was so sweet, she would have sat with us all day. We did not see the cat though.
We are looking forward to traveling to the Flinders ranges and staying at Rawnsley Park too in our Jayco Motorhome. We don't want to miss too much as we don't travel on dirt roads if possible. I remember driving on a lot of dirt roads about 40 years ago. I hope there are more sealed roads.
Lots of sealed roads although the road into Rawnsley is unsealed 😊

Can’t remember the distance, maybe 1-2 km? Slightly more? But we thought the road was in good condition. If you’re worried give them a call

Hi, thanks for the message, we hope you love the Flinders Ranges. I can see ladysusanjane assisted with the information about the road into Rawnsley Park Station being unsealed. Our video next Friday will show you the actual road on the way in. The road in is about 2 1/2 kilometers of unsealed, quite corrugated road. We took it very slow in the motorhome on the way in and the way out. Hopefully our next two videos (all of the Flinders Ranges) will give you some more information about the area, roads etc as i tried to focus on providing as much information as possible, especially for fellow motor homers. We did a 4wd tour from Rawnsley Park station. Enjoy your time there.

Lol, that's pretty cool that we are visiting places you guys have been. Would never have thought about mussels in Woomera of all places.
