I think dorcelessness is so scary because the “-lessness” part implies you’re missing something. What is Dorceness and why does it prevent us from looking like... that
I'd say it's the opposite, instead of darkness it's light, instead of just an eye it's several, i'd say an accurate angel is apropiate for a description based on my thoughts
It seems like dorcelessness is like a hole, but the blood stops moving to the bleeding parts making it die out, it's also visible because the hair shrank and gone a bit inside the face. Dorceness would be the face expanding, being able to blink, etc. Etc.
"Dorce" is an anglocized name for a legendary chinese warrior who is known for have faught other legendary chinese figures. Perhaps "dorcelessness" if a feel of pure emptiness and weakness?

@@rg3892 In an alternate universe, our emotions have the very said in the video. we just casually become flower looking faces and pillar heads and understand one another without being freaked out. its weird, but alternate universes are alternate
The thought of companies completely monetizing natural human emotions is a terrifying thought. Medications I take simply restore my emotions, not just completely force them. Honestly I'd love to see more emotions from Thalasin+, they're unbelievably well done and... morbidly beautiful.
Well, actual medicine ads on tv are pretty crazy too. "Are you tired? Don't take rest, take this pill!" "Do you fell a loss of energy? Don't eat, take this pill!" "Do you fell pain? Don't search for the core of the problem, take this pill!
Rage, I hate to the Cuban to point this out buddy but… not only has this already happened… most people you interact with is heavily medicated in one form or another. Lolol that doesn’t even include all the illegal shit! HUMBER! DORCELESSNESS!! Hahaha Good God we’re so fucked
a group of people should do this, hide it and maybe in 3021 someone will find it and wonder what the fuck, maybe think we’re a cult or make it one of those internet mysteries
Dorcelessness, imo, represents eternal rage, crippling depression, and focused pain. It reminds me of a Demon that's sulking around Earth's landscape, turning everything it touches to crimson and gray. It's as if the Deep Cosmos and the eternal voyage beyond couldn't contain the burning hatred and the bitter spite. I love Dorcelessness as a concept and the face is just awesome. It perfectly embodies the focused and determined rage and fury inside of the worst part of a human being.
This is just genius. This feels so much like a real advertisement. I love how the horror is not just in your face. It gives you a few seconds to wonder what the hell is going on. Absolutely amazing I tell you.
something I noticed after rewatching this for like the 56th time is that all the “normal” emotions shown at 1:21 are only the *mild versions of happiness/sadness/anger/etc,* meaning all those terrifying emotions in the second half could very well be only the mild versions of those same terrifying emotions too
Who could have imagined that a concept as simple as "Experience emotions beyond human understanding" would have such potential in cursed and unsettling content. Truly genious!
In case you or anyone reading is interested, there is an SCP entry which follows a similar concept. Don't remember the name, but it has to do with bubblegum
It's like a horrifying commercial you'd see in a dystopian world. Anyway, I love this, I especially love how well this captures the feeling of an old medical commercial, it makes it way more horrific.
I think the scariest part about this is the music, it’s like it’s trying to lull you into being okay with having your face turn into a tree with teeth or a trypophobia flower
I don't see any trypophobia. Just a pretty pink flower with dalmatian spots, jack-o'-lantern carvings of chibi four-legged spiders, & cute little eyes around the middle ^_^
There's something deeply unsettling about the implication that these emotions are so radically different from what we as humans even understand within the emotional spectrum that the human face has to mutate drastically to even be able to properly convey them.

I think what makes analog horror so effective is that it takes us back to a stage of vulnerability. Some strange feeling of being unsettled at a young age when you couldn’t make sense of your fears.
You might be onto something. I'm reminded of the discomfort and fear some of us felt when encountering the likes of the THX crescendo or Viacom's "V of Doom".
Its the vhs quality that makes your brain go back to when you were a child and watched them often, but since there's something clearly wrong with the video, it upsets our inner child and puts us on edge
Tried Thalasin+ last week. I took it in the morning, and I was OUT the whole day. Dude its like I was dreaming while awake. I was experiencing 2 realities at once, my waking one and a lucid dream one .... at least I think i was dreaming. Can't exactly explain how I felt, I can only tell you that it was exhilarating af. After one whole day of that, I felt the most relaxed I've ever been for a week until now. I don't think I'd need it again for a long time.
Etc.
@@justinhamilton9347 Tell me.

I love Dorcelessness as a concept and the face is just awesome.

something I noticed after rewatching this for like the 56th time is that all the “normal” emotions shown at 1:21 are only the *mild versions of happiness/sadness/anger/etc,* meaning all those terrifying emotions in the second half could very well be only the mild versions of those same terrifying emotions too

When the music stops during "dorcelessness" part.
Umm actually it's called a lotus flower🤓
It's called "Ponnish" dude, get woke.
It may not make your face turn into that, you can feel emotions without making a face

DAMN that's accurate
I personally am not bothered with analog horror. I just really love it.
Its mostly because I have a high tolerance for horror
You might be onto something. I'm reminded of the discomfort and fear some of us felt when encountering the likes of the THX crescendo or Viacom's "V of Doom".
Its the vhs quality that makes your brain go back to when you were a child and watched them often, but since there's something clearly wrong with the video, it upsets our inner child and puts us on edge
If you took thalasin you WOULD make sense of your fear
Was trying to find this again and didn’t expect to see your channel, though I guess that explains it’s weirdness like that of Night Vale
Edit: If anyone's wondering, Thalasin people aren't lying about how outrageous you'd look. So don't try this in public.
