Rapsody is a class act. You know somebody is doing something right when they are younger than you and you admire and look up to them.
A class act indeed is Rhapsody, her project was truly a journey❣️ This interview however, did make me question where was Ebro though?
Rap is the female KDOT.... glad you back Queen
She does not get enough credit and flowers.
BIG FACTS
she about to start elevating with this album
@@yungxgreenbean I agree
I know you mean that as a compliment, but Rapsody isn't just a female version of some great male artist - she's her own thing
Rapsody Fine ass hell
In the most classy way 😍
This is Rapsody best album. She deserves a Grammy for this one
I haven’t listened to it yet but I definitely will
The album is a GEM. Listening is real therapy. I LOVE RAPSODY FORREAL!
10:35 for drake Kendrick
My guy. 👍🏽
Appreciate you.
Thank you!
All of us dying to hear other artists talk about the beef 😅😂
You the goat
Ngl…. These interviewers love talking more than artists. Ask them about the process, the album cover, the way they collaborated, lyrics, thoughts on their art,… Stop tryna take control of the situation … I get it’s your show but shine light on your guests.. they’re the real reason we pull up, you just host the platform
I just listened to “Please Don’t Cry.” Such an incredible album ♥️ I love me some Rapsody!
No Ebro?! RAPSODY?! I'm with it
Hi from Vietnam. Great album! Loved the convo with Erykah too!
Rap handled this convo so gracefully- was there to talk about her album and Rosenberg wasted so much time talking about the beef, Kendrick, etc. shallow questions. Laura should’ve spearheaded this interview
Talking about Tupac, Kendrick and his own podcast for the whole interview
Beautiful inside and out. Amazing talent
Good morning Rapsody!!!! From Birmingham, Alabama
Highway 280! Lol

VERY INTERESTING CONVO
You are such a brilliant artist Rapsody! Brava
Rapsody one of the best 🎤🔥 Some of the newer female rappers need to watch this interview.
Shalom, WAKE THAT MIND UP! Thanks for sharing this conversation with Rapsody, her comment "I am not perfect" is spot on; no one is perfect, we all have issues and dealing with disappointments, hurt, deception, and list goes on. Rapsody, mentioned about the healing that can/will happen if don't give up on life. Rapsody, thank you.
Great album Rap🔥🔥
We here!
Yes I agree with Rapsody, people are bored with that oversexualization stuff, core hip hop fans want to hear real rap, bars and see creativity, authenticity 💯
NEED NEED NEED that Rapsody/KDOT collab album.
Flawless album 🔥💯
The album is INCREDIBLE! ❤
Her album is 5 🎤..It’s beautiful, introspective, and personal, just very well crafted top to bottom..best hip hop to come out this year so far. My personal AoTY so far.
This album is good… this is Rapsody’s Mr Morale and the Big Steppers ❤️😮💨
She is so dope !!!
Yess I love Erykah Badu, she is definitely an awesome spirit, pure talent
REAL HIP HOP!!
Her album is easily 5 mics. Btw Rosenberg’s take on Pac is one of his few W’s
Rapsody is the best Female Rapper💯 People need to stop praising Cardi B and Sexy Redd, Rapsody is a real woman.
The album is really good
the laura styles bomb is back!
Her album is phenomenal. So beautifully emotional.
Love Rap
8:40 it’s so funny how the 2020s ended up being a journey for so many of us .
I lost my pops in 2020, I never cried that much in my life .
Then I wrote more than I ever did too , not just musically but journaling and stories as well .
I agree with Rapsody, sometimes you just got to take the L and move on. 💯
Rapsody needs a Battle

Boy sand pfp(!)
@@embermist3910 you caught me
We really can't lable her a "female rapper" 😢
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Rosenberg loves to talk about himself
I heard her song with Lil Wayne the other day 🔥🔥🔥
Shout out NC born🔥🤎💯
EXCITED TO HEAR ANOTHER PERSPECTIVE ON TRANS PEOPLE FROM A RESPECTED FIGURE, IT'S WHAT THE PPL NEED
I consider her as the female version of Black Thought. Nothing less.
Bigger than that
When n if you get to the other side you can go on n help so many other people who not coping 🙏🏾🏴Scotland Uk
Rosenberg will always turn a conversation into talking about himself.
Always. It’s so annoying. Talking more about Kendrick than her
Thank you Talib Kweli for making me discover this amazing artist +/- 10 years ago.
My favorite female hip hop artist since then.
Hit em up is the greatest diss record in Hip Hop. facts!!!
Over No Vaseline??? You Gotta re listen
🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Dude talked more than Rap!
Rosenberg hasn't listened to the album and it shows.
🥱
15:12 bs , big and puff threw plenty of subliminal jabs.
Man hit em up is a classic stop bringing up pac.
*Women are really taking over everything at this point 👍 Education, OnlyFans, WWE, Hip Hop, UFC....everything except the NBA* 😂
How is that true when we were talking about Future, Metro, Cole, Kendrick, and Drake for the entirety of 2024? 🙃
@@dfwherbie8814 *Cardi, Nicki, Meg, Red and Ice are right there with em* 😘
@@ThousandairesClub Megan’s silly ahh thought she could do a national stadium tour and no one is buying tickets. She can’t sell according to her expectations. She’s massively underperforming. Ice Spice’s label overly invested in her, which means, due to them being leveraged in the investment, she is being forced into new spaces as a way to recoup on their investment, but most ppl don’t buy it. Her new single is poorly received and underperforming as well. She released it, then took it down, then re-released it. This is her last year. Cardi is terrified to release her next album and Atlantic is forcing her to drop this year, which means, unless she performs well, they will cut ties. It’s been 6 years since Cardi dropped, and her singles, like the others, aren’t well received. Which means, the only one kind of doing decent (even though sales don’t reflect it). Her best song only peaked at 62 in the billboard 200.
@@ThousandairesClub at the end of the day, regular people (not subset of mentally challenged blk women who live vicariously through female rappers) are getting bored of these trash, can’t rap, sex first female rappers. In order to have a career, your music needs to be timeless. Do you know how silly you’ll be listening to Ice Spice at 60 years old? Which means, that music is the equivalent to McDonald’s. That’s not a flex. Meanwhile, you have dope women like Rapsody out here, Leikeli47 is another dope one too. Princess Nokia is another dope one. Sa-Roc is dope. So is iLL Camille. Noname is very dope as well. This is a serious question that people in the industry ask themselves: why don’t black women support talented black women lyricists that don’t lead with sex? Feels like internalized misogyny. And with the exception of Megan, not a single one of them women you mentioned write their own raps; men write their raps. Which means, you’re listening to a male’s perceptive on black female sexuality. And how is that something you can get behind?
@@dfwherbie8814 *if Cardi drops right now, I'm checking for her waayy more than J Cole or Future. Cardi and Nicki are VERY MUCH top 5.*
I hate Hit Em Up 🤷🏾♀️
You soft and alone.
terrible interview. literally made it about other rap artist but her! booooo!
This is such a terrible interview. Talk to Rap about herself and her music
I respected rapsody because of the principles she is standing on, but to watch her crying and complaining about poosy rap, and going out of her way to big up cardi, who is the biggest reason why female rap is perceived the way it is lately is so disappointing.. Nicki is the only female artist and rapper from the core who has been representing the essence of rap for almost 2 decades now...but you still get people like rapsody and a lot of these 80s and 90s female rappers still accussing nicki of not giving kim her props and criticizing her career like she sounds like her. All i hear is jealosy from them that a beautiful, intelligent, rich and witty girl like nicki has carved a lane they cant eff with on any level and they thought she is just a pretty face that would come and go like plenty before her. Big ups to nicki for continuing to prove these haters wrong and fearlessly being herself no matter the whispers and bias and this is why god continues to bless her while these h03s flop with all the label shenanigans and tricks to make them look like they are WINNING.
The Goddess got EXTRA busy on this album 🙌🏾 absolute mastery level emcee. Thank God Rapsody still cares about hip hop. We NEED her and we needed PLEASE DON'T CRY. Go head Queen👸🏾 she burned this shxt down!
