- Join me on an eventful subway ride from Astoria to Grand Central during a service change weekend where the N train didn't run to Manhattan. Originally I was going to use the flagship Apple Store on 5th Avenue, but had to change it to Grand Central instead because of this service change.

I like these subway train video. It reminds me of my time living in NY city and how convenient to get around the city by train without a car. I sure missed living in NY city. Watching this video bring back lots of good old memories

Why do people enjoy standing so close to the platform edge, risking being pushed onto the tracks?
Let me tell you. When am on a Platform especially these days. My phone stays in the pocket! My eyes are up looking everywhere. And I let hardly anyone walk behind me…. While am near the platform edge.

When the platform is not crowded it's possible to stay vigilant... but also, of someone really wanted to, they can... just stay out the whole train station.. be SUPER cautious and not super Mario... stay out of the pipeline

0:37-This is a beautifully refurbished subway station; the city and the state need to keep on redoing _all_ of the subway stations in New York to the standard of this one and the one on the new line and the station under the Oculus Rift building (and light rail lines need to be built in the transit-starved sections of Queens & the Bronx.)

The W & N lines suck, they are always problems or detours. Having to get out at 39 or Queensboro and walk to the next station in the case of 39th or the 7 at Queensboro. Been going on for a decade, with the restoration for Laguardia starting this BS!

They are not available in most stations.
