Carys, Eczema is inflammation of the skin ( & like most inflammatory responses it is an autoimmune response by your body ) I suffered with it from being a baby ( I believe brought on by Dairy, as being adopted I wasn't breastfed & given Cow's milk ) I found out later in life I have a huge intolerance to dairy, I have commented before on diet relation to Eczema. The number one culprit's are Dairy, Citrus & Spicy food & more often than not Gluten & Wheat. I have studied this exstensively & nutrition, I haven't had Eczema since my early 20's & the last bout the GP claiming that flare up was stress induced ( it covered my whole forehead & weeped ) It was close to Christmas & I was very stressed ( too much cortisol your body responds ) However I learnt about nutrition after this last episode ( I'm now in my 40's & never had it since ) I know you're not interested in this, as I've tried to help before, but James is right, it's more likely stress for you. I have never heard of a single case being brought on by Pregnancy alone ( unless other conditions are at play ) But a lot of experts will tell you to use Hydrocortisone cream, which you should never do ( It thins your skin & creates a cycle where your skin relies on it, flares up when you stop ) & actually African Black Soap & Zinc help more than anything else, you should be looking at anti - inflammatory solutions. I genuinely hope you read this, as I saw on a previous video many comments like mine, by people also like me who have suffered longer than you, & either found a solution ( me ) or a way to manage it. You should look at alternative treatments & holistic remedies treat the cause ( not the symptom )

Love the pregnancy updates! I have just found out I am 6 weeks pregnant after trying for over a year ❤️ I have been struggling this week with anxiety as my in laws didn’t take it too well as my sister in law is also pregnant (around 17 weeks) and they feel I shouldn’t have fell pregnant at the same time as it isn’t fair on her. Trying not to let the negativity get me down so thank you for your video ❤️❤️

I followed/subscribed to you years ago was I absolutely loved you content and was a supporter of you both. You fell pregnant with Amber and your whole channel changed, social media changed. It took me 3 years to conceive so I understand the excitement etc but it became a challenge watching you. I have a child, being a Mum becomes your life, but it doesn’t need to take over your personality. I’m actually pregnant again now and due very soon, seeing your news I was exited for you all and I did watch a few of your first pregnancy videos but again, it’s just draining how much it’s taken over you. So many of us don’t need to be reminded you are pregnant in every video, every Instagram post or story. My social feed has my pregnant belly in it, it’s part of me, but I don’t need to point at it, lift my top to show it off more or put emojis on my stomach to show there is a baby in there and it’s not just flab. I think I can speak for many people here and your lack of views recently is reflecting that. This is absolutely in no way a hateful comment, maybe just try to remember who your original supporters here are and start creating content like you used too to keep hold of many of us.
This 100% - I never ever want children and don’t really like them and every single influencer is having kids now so I have very little people to follow and truly enjoy their content. It’s so irritating that it takes over people’s lives
I think as a viewer you have to remember they are lifestyle vloggers, they vlog their life. This is their life, they are having another baby so pregnancy is going to be a prominent part of the vlogs. This comment really puts down their excitement, you’re allowed to feel another way but this comment doesn’t come across very nice ☹️ if you don’t enjoy it, you don’t have to watch! 😊
Oh I get that! Completely. Pregnancy takes over your life, but there’s also other things going on in your life. You still have old hobbies, interests perhaps too? Being a Mum and now pregnant is only 80% of me, I don’t need to shove it down people’s throats constantly either, others don’t need to be reminded daily - especially those who have/are struggling to conceive or have gone through child loss. It’s all such a sensitive topic and unfortunately I don’t think a lot of people take much care when going about these topics and how it may affect as such ‘viewers’. This is just my opinion.
This may not be a hate comment but I think its very unreasonable. You follow the vloggers for them not just the content and you may not want to see so much of the pregnancy but that IS their lives and they literally show every other thing going on aswell as their pregnancy journey. They are living this now and if it isn't on your wave length come back in a few months.
I don’t agree with this comment at all, Carys & James have done so much this year - going to France for a month, Majorca, Whittaker house, the garden transformation, the other project which is coming out soon. In fact, they’ve barely mentioned the pregnancy but if they have so what?! This is their life and this is something they are excited for and are allowed to share if they so wish.
I think the titles are worded correctly and have no hiding what the vlog entails, so you choose to watch them? I understand it can be triggering for some however there is also a choice in what to watch.
I think you need to put it all into a bigger perspective because this is only a short amount of time that you are actually pregnant and something they can reflect back on with this gorgeous little baby to come into the world
Please be more mindful that this is their life and this comment is upsetting for them and for their viewers who are interested x

I've struggled with eczema since I was 4 (I'm now 16) Mine is mostly in my legs and every time I shower I moisturize them before they fully dry - and it helps!! Hope this hack works for you as well! You guys are truly so sweet. Thanks for brightening my day❤

I really think drinking more water will help with your skin. This happened to me during pregnancy and during post and upping my water helped SO much. Always be drinking water. Constantly.

I had those same fears, but i found that the older sibling also wanted to sit and be with the baby and also the new baby sleeps so much and you will have time to play with the toddler too! ❤

When I went from 1 to 2, I just had to make sure that I spent time with the little one also. This can be done just by having Amber spend time with your mom and dad or James’ mom and dad and then you just take the little one and do something together but you got to remember that the youngest will need just as much alone time as the oldest with you!

Re: the eczema, the water is a great idea and if you add hyaluronic acid (from the inkey list or the ordinary) it'll help your body absorb that water, and then add your moisturizer and then oil barrier on top to seal in the skin :)

on the topic of eczema, i can definitely attest to the moisturizer when wet especially for the face!! I had the worst irritated skin last year and i randomly started patting the water a touch and then applying moisturizer!!! It helped a ton!!!!

Sat here watching you guys with our 2 week old. She is so calm and she does sleep (at the moment!) but the waking up every few hours 😴😅 Me and my other half do 'shifts' with baby so he can get some sleep for work.

Carys I also struggle with eczema and, if it’s stinging going with your moisturiser and water try an ointment rather than a cream at least at night, it is much more hydrating and helps with my flare ups- might help you too! 😊

Have you tried lush for you eczema? They do some tester pots of a natural balm they have. I get eczema on occasion and it works really well for me

In our NHS we have a big screen, and the sonographer has a little screen- most anxious wait the first time waiting for them to find baby on a screen that looks blank! But Amazing to see it all 🥰
Aww that’s so cute 🥰… I just went for my 20 week scan on Friday I’m having a baby boy 💙,however I did find out that I have low lying placenta and was reassured it will move up later on the pregnancy. Just hoping for the best , I didn’t know I had it as I had no symptoms whatsoever .

I don't know how many times the Paw Patrol puppies saved our day. I see, Amber has a ball, my son does as well. And a PP pajama, sock, bedding, plate and cup, puzzles, pillows.... ah, thank you for your service, puppies...
So exciting that 20 week appointment. Means halfway done! I had my second little boy about 6 months ago. My oldest is 2. I remember not having a clue what I'd name my second son. I knew from week one what my first child's name was and I was beating myself up for not having a name in mind until the week of giving birth for my second child. Just throwing it out there, I think you should consider Sage or another color name; that would be too cute. But I'm sure you've already got great ideas. My husband and I are done until 2024 and then we'll decide if we are gonna try for a girl again or not, cause I'd have to be comfortable with having another boy and it would be the Final one if that were to happen too. So I thought a head this time, just in case, and I actually have names. My second child was unexpected and it was a stressful journey so there was a huge disconnect but since I'm breastfeeding this one, it definitely fills that gap. My oldest is a Dada's boy and this one is a Mama's boy. It's nice that we each have one so maybe I might not want more kids. Tough choice.

With my 3 babies, I looked at each week and everything I could. My first baby passed due to a miscarriage and my second passed at 10 days old, a neonatal death. My 3rd baby is nearly 1. Some people would never understand how difficult mine and many other womens journeys have been

Have you tried o'keeffe's working hands cream? My hands used to crack and bleed from eczema. I tried all sorts, and working hands cream is the only thing that works for me, they dont even get dry anymore! :) xx

My friends and I are having our babies soon and there is a little debate. Do you give the bigger room to the first child because they were born first? Some people say it doesn’t matter but I have friends that we’re the first born and they kept their nursery (which was the smaller room) and there sibling got the other room. They said growing up they were jealous and resentful because they were the oldest and should have the biggest space. Is this a thing? Should we put the baby in the bigger room now so we don’t have to move them later?

Aw I’m 26 weeks pregnant and my little girl is same age as Amber and me and my partner plan on doing same thing at the start.. I do night feeds and he gets up with our biggest daughter 😍 I’m having another girl too! But I added in that after the morning feed he also takes the smallest doll and I have an hour or 2 of hopefully good sleep 🤞🏼🙈
