HOW TO INSTALL 15'-10" FLAT PANEL BLINDS BY PIPEFITTERMIKE

LISTEN TO THE SOUND TRACK ON THIS ONE, IT EXPLAINS THAT WE ORDERED THE BLINDS FROM BLINDS GALORE AND THE WOMAN ON THE PHONE TOLD ANN THAT SHE HAS NEVER MADE A SET THIS WIDE (15'-10"). WE WANTED THE WANDS TO BE SEPARATE SO WE COULD OPEN ONE SIDE OR THE OTHER, APPARENTLY THEY LIKE IT SO IF YOU OPEN ONE SIDE THE OTHER SIDE OPENS, NOT SURE WHY YOU WOULD WANT THAT. THE WAY WE HAVE IT NOW IF YOU PUT FURNITURE IN EITHER CORNER YOU CAN OPEN EITHER SIDE FROM THE MIDDLE, OTHER THAN DESIGN ISSUES IT WAS AN EASY INSTALL AND IT IS A BALI BLIND, ANY QUESTIONS JUST LEAVE THEM AFTER YOU SUBSCRIBE TO MY YOU TUBE ACCOUNT, THANKS, MICHAEL AND ANN
I had done this video before on my other channel, but some people had complained about the music and the poor photograpy and video soo.... i re-did it and i brightened up the footage and backed off the music, thanks hope this helps, Mike

Sorry didnt respond to quickly, have to get the details out of my wife so here they are, she got them at blinds galore on line,they were custom ordered, we were originally going to get them motorized, but with the space requirements and the "maximum beauty", as my wife sezs, we opted for just the 2 sticks in the middle and you physically pull them open and close. Bali solar shades is the brand and, lucent is the color, 5 percent openess, is how they term the solar rating, march 18 2012, is when we bought them and they were around 700.00. my wife sezs to look at IKEA, it seems they came out with some really nice ones after we bought these, hope this helps and keep on home improving, Michael and Ann

Yes, they are 5 percent openess is how they term the solar rating

Thanks for the comments, appreciate it, Ann and I have found the simpler the better, we started out thinking motorized, then just strings on both sides, then one side, finally we dialed it back, this is what the result was. Thanks Again, Michael and Ann

Ha Ha Ha LOL, good thing i am retired, this was my wifes project, and i really didnt plan on making a video. I grabbed my nearest camera at the time which only filmed in 720p, my old Canon DC-10, and at the same time i had to be the apprentice and snap to any of my wifes orders.....LOL. grab the screw gun, hold this, are you wearing rubber gloves? It was a whirl wind installing stuff and at the same time filming .....Hope you at least gleaned something from it....Thanks for watching, subscribing, Liking, and commenting, Pipefittermike
