Thanks so much Simon! I found your video a few days ago, which introduced me to this song for the first time... I have had both the song, and your video, on repeat for the last two days. I am new to the Baritone Uke, only a few weeks, but I am now confident this will be the very first song I learn how to play and sing along to :) Thanks a million Simon, really appreciate your tutorial, and for introducing me to this great song.
Thank you !!! Really appreciate these. Already learned whiskey in the jar from you a while back and really like how you explain things. It’s helping me entertain people all the way over here in Berlin, Germany.
any chance you can do the whole song for us. i am challenged with some of the lyrics that are not in the chorus sometimes if i can hear it, the way you play it, it really helps i get that it is only two chords but not sure when to make the switch. thank you
Nicely done Simon. Shared on Humble Baritonics. When I was just beginning these simple flavorings made the song more fun. I now have a guitar as my friends encouraged me and said it would improve my bari playing. Well I did toughen up my fingers and no I play my steel string tenor guitar tuned DGBE. Thanks Jeff / Humble Baritonics.
Love the video!...thank you! Like your cool approach too. It'd be FANTASTIC if you'd consider posting the chord diagrams/tabs for the entire song, or even offer it for cost, with a full tutorial. It sure would be a welcome 'gift' to the ukulele music world. This video (awesome as it is) only provides a snippet in how to play the song ...kinda like a movie trailer! ;)
I have a Mitchell, and I highly recommend it! It has a beautiful rich voice. It's a wonderful instrument that is a joy to play. I had a pickup added so I can play with the band.

Hi Trish, it's an Ortega.

How Does You Baritone Ukulele Have A Cord/Plug On The Bottom Of It?
It's an electric baritone ukulele.
What kind of uke are you using?
What’s the name of your ukelele?
It's an Ortega. Made in China, I think :)
Simon Orrell Thank you!

I think you confuse what is the top string and bottom string are. Top is d string. Closest to your hea
Sorry to confuse you. For me, top string is highest, bottom string, the lowest.
Very confusing lesson
