This is honestly one of the best layouts and nicest designed conversion vans I've seen. The lifting bed is nothing less of wonderful. One immodest suggestion or opinion if I may. As great and useful as the big closet is, I would raise the fridge in place of the closet and have a fridge at eye level and use the lower area to have a retractable toilet on heavy duty rails so that the toilet would be out of sight and also a shower area with no obstruction.

I love it. I thought maybe adding a table at the back coming from the floor and a screen for
movies? And hooks or nooks in the bathroom? Does it have radiant floor? This is a great model for Canada although I have no idea how it works to purchase a van in us and bring it to Canada officially.

Well tought out build, very functional! I like how you guys went and milled the shiplap to reduce weight. Keep it simple, keep it light! How did you seal the 90 corners between pvc sheeting in the shower?

Awesome built! I really like it. How long is bed on the HappiJac bed lift if you don't mind?
Thank you so much! The Bed Size of the HappiJac is close to the length of a full bed and is 72"!
how wide is fridge/closet behind the shower? Can you do the same build using Sprinter 170 non-EXT if you ditch that fridge/closet?
for weight distribution purposes you would have to have something equally as heavy in replace of the fridge/closet!
Any details on the electric? second alternator, solar only? etc. where did you store the inverter, batteries?
Electrical system is in the Passenger rear of the dinette bench. It holds 4 x 170ah Li Batteries, there are 2 x 175w solar panels on top, there is a 60 amp DC-DC Battery charger, and a 3000w inverter charger with a 30amp inlet for chore power connection!
Could you elaborate on the heater situation at high altitude?
The heater settings can be adjusted when at high elevation through the smart controller!

Hi Diana, A build like this starts at $70,000! But all the exterior components and some interior are extra!
Nice build. I would have included a bunk window to create circulation while in bed.
A Window was offered but clients divided against it for privacy but it is definitely a great idea!
Very nice! How much was this build? Would it be possible to fit all of this minus the extra seats in the front area into a 144? If so, what would that look like ballpark price wise? Also, can you use different wood than the pine look?
Hi There! This was a custom build that received a lot of exterior work so price was a little higher than we normally see! Un fortunately we would not be able to fit a HappiJac into a 144WB but we can in a 170WB! We can use different wood for Custom Builds if requested!

Hi Rachel! This build in particular was higher than our usual Custom conversion build cost because it had a ton of exterior ad-ons. But normally a bus like this would cost around $60-$70,00 for the interior Build Out.
What is the gas mileage like, Roman?

First I am going to say sorry, doesn’t mention anything about fresh water tank size, the bed going up and down is going to have problems later on, the motor for the bed will cost problems, either jam or break down, the first bed I saw is weird, should go other way, the van itself too empty, only good enough for weekends getaway, no generator or say anything about battery, no microwave? Y not mount the stove on counter top? That is the thing I am thinking, need a garage for it as well. I might be picky!
TAnk is 30 gals, the bed lift is a HappiJac is meant for trailers. We have been installing them in vans for 5 years and haven’t had a problem but if you have experience with them that you would like to share please go ahead…. The bed in the front is meant as an alternative sleeping space if someone doesn’t want to share a bed. The is 680ah of lithium battery power and 600w of solar so no need for a generator. We have been building custom campers for the last 5 years and customize build for clients exact specifications so stoves and microwaves are added upon request. Not all builds are everyone. Keep watching and maybe you will find a build to fit your needs.
