You just saved me a TON of time, I was about to do this manually for 112 clips. I needed the layers to be staggered and overlapping which "sequence layers" alone wasn't doing for me, I love the bracket trick. Thank you very much!
AWESOME!! Just did a project manually, one layer at a time, 20 layers. Bugged me to have to do that and so I went searching, but was not sure what keyword to use. Finally found this tutorial and learned several time savers. Thank you ukramedia!
OMFG! You're the king! Been pulling my hair out all morning trying to figure this out. Can't thank you enough.
6 years later and you are still taking me to school. Thanks Sergei!
I had so many layers and it was becoming such a pain! This is amazing and got everything perfectly how I wanted it in just a couple seconds. Thank you!!! Will definitely be using this trick all the time!
Best Quickly explained Sequence explanation I've ever heard/seen. And additional tricks I didn't know existed, especially CMD+RMB selecting in order of desired appearance. NICE!
I've been using After Effects for 5 years now and I must tell you; you have just sped up my workflow by tenfold. I can't believe I am finding this now. Subscribed.
I'm glad you found this channel useful. Thank you for the sub! Also, feel free to join our mentoring group at facebook.com/groups/ukramedia. We'd love to have on there!

Oh hell yeah. I love that it's selection-based. This would be mind-numbing to do by hand.
Excellent Tutorial!

It's nice to look for something on youtube and find exactly what I need, even moreso, to see that I've already liked the video and subbed the channel some time ago! So thank you again! :)

Love this tip! Only I can't make it work as I don't have an English keyboard. What is the menu equivalent of OPT+ ] for Mac, for those of us with foreign keyboards?
Amazing!!! 👍

MUY BUENO
An awesome tip and good to know the foundation of this tip. I use Mr. Horse's transition shifter which is free and quicker than having to make your layers 3 frames then extending them. Just trying to be helpful, I believe it's free as part of his animation composer script.
You're right, using a script is a much better solution. I just wanted to show another way to do it without using a script. At my previous job, we weren't allowed to install personal scripts and that was an issue. So it pays to know alternative ways. :-)
yeah, RIFT is an awesome tool for offsetting as well. Couldn't live without it.
Hi, there is a way to undo the offset but not ctr +z way because i have already worok on many diferent things ? Thanks and nice video
Question: When selecting the layers in the order you wanted your pop-up said "CTRL + RMB". SHould that not be "LMB"? Thanks. Awesome tip as usual.
Oops... you're right. I got my left and right confused, I tend to do that often. lol Sorry about that.
GOD BLESS YOU
thank you very much
Thank YOU!
great
thanks a lot!
Thank YOU, Ghada!
This was really helpful.. I have a question though.. once I have placed all of it and now I need to get all the layers to start point to change certain things. how do I get all the layers to the start point?
this saved my ass, thank you!
Is there a way of distributing objects evenly across the canvas like in this video, but with the objects being different objects? So not just one and the same object?
Эх, раньше бы! Столько времени потрачено :(Спасибище!
:-)
amazinggggggggggg
thx you very much one Big LIke ;)
U -> THE KING
literally perfect timing ;-;
Awesome! I'm glad you found it useful.
Hi, we can make this to Schale random Objekts and random Offset ???
Cool
at the first place how to put all logos in staright line and duplicating each logo individually?
Great video, I have a question if anyone can assist, I am searching for a way to create an effect of multiple object falling from height (scale down) and to make the final shape, I dont know how to search for this effect. Thank you in advance
amazing
:-)
