You're a God.
Thanks for telling
thank you! You just save me!
People looking at this as a sad scene.. to me it’s a beautiful scene. Yes, I am sad for Dan. I am happy for Charlotte. She made the ULTIMATE sacrifice. She laid down her life for another. She put herself between a person and a gun, assuming she was damned to go to hell. This was the biggest sacrifice one could make. Very selfless, to sacrifice yourself, especially if you think you’re going to go to hell.
Cameron Taylor it’s called martyrdom and it’s a ticket straight to heaven... kind of like throwing yourself on a grenade to save your fellow service members and being awarded the CMoH.
She is not saving a notmal person.. she was saving the favorite son of God..
Who says this scene can't be both sad and beautiful
I think I cried because of the beauty of the whole scene.
His wings opening were totally breathtaking and beautiful.
@Nylah Dickerson Charlotte was engaged to Dan before she died, she was the love of his life
he got his wings back cause he actually cried for human
Ant life yeah he actually connected with a human for the first time
Nah it is because he was the only one who could take her to heaven
And for that he needed his wings.
The best scene ever 😄
You are wrong...
Because the director told him to cry ???
Dude did you even watch till the end of season 3? He got his wings back bec Angels can control all of it.
This made me really sad I got really emotional and cried.
Try being almost at the anniversary of losing a parent. I had to pause the dvr.
Chantelle White try rebalancing the universe.
When he spread his wings I just cried
i was all welled up until i saw dan’s reaction i just cried 😫
For someone who has experienced losing someone. I will never hate Dan, he is grieving. I'm sick of people hating on him when he has been through so much crap.
Thankfully Dan got the best ending. Most of the important characters did.
I think Dan was flawed, like many and the show used him of an example of grace, he changes, and goes to heaven. 😊
Love that Lucifer realizes Amenadiel was right about angel controlling themselves...Now he knows he gave himself his wings back because deep down he know he was becoming a better being but didn’t want to admit it to himself because for most of his existence he’s was described as pure evil
This must have been weird for Lucifer. This is the second time he saw Charlotte "die".
It has taken me a bit too long to realize that part of the reason Chloe hugs lucifer is probably,
because from her perspective Lucifer just discovered the corpse of his stepmother
Amenadiel brought his mom back to her home, after all..
earlier in the season "I cant just take you to heaven. it doesnt work that way."
@@tenjenk Yeah but she changed and she protected a Angel so 100% sure she was gonna go to heaven so he took her did you even pay attention to it lol
@@tenjenkThe wings were a message from God, saying he can bring her up now. He's acting like the angel of death.
All three of you are wrong, that is not their mother that is Charlotte... She saved Amenadiels life by standing in front of the shooter... Then he gets his wings back because he himself believes its his duty to take her to heaven...
@@stockmatthew2010 oh matthew hahaha i do know that that isn't his real Mum but just the sentimental thought as a viewer since their Mum did use Charlotte as her vessel
In the comics Amenadiel was a bad guy. Im real glad how great of a character he is.
Really now I gotta read the comics
Sameeeeee
well he was bad the first few he only change because he lost his power right
@@mael8328 He wasn’t. He was a soldier of God, only doing what he was told.
lol comics
The moment where she said “will you stay with me” got my heart broken just because she was lonely most of her life and now that she has someone she doesn’t want it to end.
Glad she got to go to heaven for finally redeeming herself.
The FEAR of uncertainty in her face as to her fate. (Wishing at least for the comfort of an angel, should she be rejected from heaven..)
@@emmarh.4272 No she won't be rejected from heaven because she repented, she made the ultimate sacrifice to put herself between Amenadiel and a gun, she regretted defending criminals who were back on the streets in a blink of an eye, she learned her lesson in hell and that's why Lucifer had no hand in her going to hell neither heaven but he knew she had redeemed herself.
Omg when amenadiel got his wings i started crying and rip charlotte. this scene was so sad 😭😭
I never thought Lucifer would be a programme that would make me cry, but I did at this scene. It embodied redemption, but Dan ended up having his heart broken. This is where you realise great direction, music score and casting can make a series or break it.
1st class ticket to heaven.
"Lets go home :')"
*Oshiete* *Oshiete*
exactly man, that killed me.
I don’t know whether this show has been renewed or not yet but I hope this isn’t amenadiels last scene.
Oliver Horwood this isnt the finale, there is still one more episode
It got cancelled :(
Vonn Meneses Netflix saved Lucifer , season 4 is happening
If it is I'm happy he got his wings back
Netflix bought the series so season 4 ends shooting in December and premieres next year
one of the strongest episodes of any tv series
yes, but heyworld was better
@@jesusmora9379 I'm gonna pass on that, this was more powerful.
song name ashes by claire guerreso your welcome :)
n4t3 oh thank you
your very welcome
n4t3 what do u think will happen is she gonna miss him?
what do you mean by is she gonna miss him?
n4t3 charltte is going to haven is she going to miss dan?
So There’s seems to be a lot of confusion on the reason amendiel gets his wings back let me explain it to you
Amendiel got his wings back because HE willed them back... yes it was all him ...why? As stated by Michael in season 5: the angels are self actualizing beings... they control what they are able to do and not do and even take away their powers all based on what they believe. amendiel even theorized this early on in this season when he was talking to Lucifer. An interesting parallel is that humans make their own hell. Angels make their own limits everything is self imposed. Amendiel Believed more than anything what he needed to do was set things right it meant ensuring that Charlotte sacrifice wasn’t in vain. He wanted to make sure she would end up in heaven so he took her their himself. because he believed more than anything in the moment that’s what had to do. Bypassing any self imposed restrictions on his abilities he had put on himself prior.
OMG Thanks!!! I've always wondered why they came back
Thanks...HAVENT SEEN SEASON 4 YET...LOOKING FOR CLUES ECT.
It’s not exactly about what they believe it’s something like that but deeper too in a sense that it’s also about if they believe they’re are worthy of something or by what they deserve that’s how even fallen angels can keep wings, because with the pain or whatever it is they’ve endured they still feel they deserve something and they might be scary characteristics because that’s what they see themselves still deserving deep down, both avengement and punishment
It also means this is the moment amenadiel forgives himself. In this moment when he cries for a human, he finally feels worthy to be an angel again. And its beautiful.
This is the best scene ever! Song is so perfect. I cried so much for Charlotte when she asked him to stay with her. But when Amenadiel gete his wings back and takes her to heaven, made me so happy. Wow i will never forget this scene....
❤
The line ‘Let’s go home’ was just brilliant and it said so much.
I didn't want Charlotte to die 😭😭😭😭😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😿😿😿😿😿
Same
The look on Lucifer's face when he realized what happened was priceless.
Redemption perfectly portrayed, for both Charlotte and Amenadiel. This truly is a strong scene.
THIS ACTOR IS THE VERY DEFINATION OF BEAUTIFUL .shame on Foxx for being fools.
I personally feel Netflix has done better job especially in the graphics department
@@Comando729 sadly tv series usually has a low budget for this
That "let s go home" is totally heartbreaking; we ll see our missing beloved ones there, we ll be in peace. We love you and miss you :_-)
For wings darker than lucifers I find Amenadiels wings are pretty Beautiful really
Compared to season 1, his wings are very different
I think the wings represent the nature of the angels. His first wings were darker, sharper and more soldier like. He was the soldier of god who didnt question things and his empathy was.. lacking. After experiencing all this he got softer and was able to shed tears for humans. all the emotions he felt, the love, the sadness formed his being anew. now his wings are brighter, bigger and softer looking.
That would explain why Lucifers Wings are so shining white. Even though he has a dark streak he has massive empathy for suffering humans and hate for bad people. Just remember when Father Frank died in season 1. And well, he questions things a lot.
HupfDole87 I think you might be right. Especially since amenadiel himself said that angels are the leaders of their own fates and they themselves control who they are
But if you look throughout the show, they aren't too consistent on the wings. Lucifer's wings changed from when he regained them in the desert to when he showed them to Linda. Amenadiel's changed from when he threatened Lucifer in the club, when he was standing in the street, when he was losing them, and now.
VtOL Wariors Well that's incorrect, I mean angels have always been the messengers and soldiers of God, those that don't do what they're told get cast out, like Lucifer and the small group of angels that followed him.
Poor Dan...
That....isnt Dan :/
Yes, but Charlotte was his girlfriend and he was at last in a happy relationship...
man him going back home ot just find her stuff lying around, proof of her existence. lipstick on her mug, bed clothes lying around. That hits personally for anyone who has lost people.
Heaven must be celebrating because 2 souls have been redeemed. The soul of a human & angel. Praise the Lord & amen.
this show does character deaths so well
Love the show, this scene was off the hook. Thought show couldn't get any better but this scene rocked it . Him getting his wings back proving his theory. The music the scene. Rewinded about 10 times.
He got his wings back because an angel can't break his/her word, he promised her he'll not leave her, thats why he took her soul to heaven
Still waiting for such day.. When an angel will come.. and say.. Lets go home.. So i can meet my mom.. 🌹🌹😭🥀🥀
Amenadile was shinning in this episode.................................
Literally couldn’t of been a more perfect song for this scene
me and my fiance watched this season together and this scene broke her down hard. It's a powerful and a fantastic scene.
Redemption.
The biggest form comes in a selfless act of sacrifice.
RIP in Charlotte 'Richards. You earned your rightful place in paradise.
When charlotte first died she was alone and lived a life knowing deep down everyone hated her She stood to the side and let evil triumph, and as such no oned mourned her passing.
Now she dies in the arms of someone she put her self in front of to save, lived a new life where everyone loved her, and as such her death will leave many in mourning
Charlotte could have been a joke character but she was the heart of this season, showing growth and helping others grow as well.
John Hoyt but that’s not true when Charlotte died she actually died trying to bring down a cartel
She’s easily one of the best characters in the whole show, the actress has amazing range and this scene just blew me away from both performers
She sacrificed herself for her friend, the greatest act of love
This whole scene was John 15:13 on screen and it was really one of the highlights of the season.
I wish they had less filler episodes that season, because I know people who got bored and missed out on episodes like this one
Q
I cried when he said let’s go home; meaning go home to heaven.
Amenadial is my favorite guardian angel
I prefered Michael the first and stronger angel of god 😎
the moment when devil did not care for his own gain, but his best friend loss
I really crying when I watch den is crying and when his death episode I watch and maze crying for him i literally got broke my heart and i started crying.this is my best best friend in my life.i hope season 7 lauch of Lucifer.
I cried so hard most beautiful death I've seen in years
One of the most powerful and amazing episodes of any show I’ve watched… gets me every single time
This was an amazing end to both Charlotte's and Amenadiel's arcs.
i had goosebumps the first time i saw this scene
I love the wings they’re so good lookin and they look so fluffy akakakajdlsbsmayaba
He got them back because he cried for here that showed god that he cares for all people/things
this is the only scene that got me a lump in the throat
Cried watching it the first time and cried rewatching it, the song always gets to me😭
I destroy Cain
Oh Charlotte 😭😭
it made me cry just let it out
Atila?
hm his wings look different. bigger, less and and more fluffy :)
upgrade?
HupfDole87 I like his new ones. I wish I had wings
Amenadiel himself changed since he lost his first set of wings. Before his fall, Amenadiel was a ruthless soldier who welcomed war with his own brother. Now, when he becomes an angel again, Amenadiel is full of compassion, kindness, and love. He's a protector, not a soldier now. That's the unspoken, in-universe reason his wings became softer, lost their sharpness to become fluffy, and were larger. The same thing happened in reverse with Lucifer's white wings becoming dragon-like when he killed Cain and changing back once he started to forgive himself
Out of all the episodes throughout the series, this is one of the rare ones that has really, really stuck with me. It has changed my perception on how i look at things in real life as well
One of the most powerful scenes other than the Goddess' departure at the beach
does anybody knows the song for this scene? its so touching :C
ly ashes by claire
Most touching scene... I actually cried watching this part then, the thing is he didn't just get his wings back because he has the power to but if a human can take a bullet for an angel then it's something else, God saw that love, that's if a human can do this for an angel then why can't He give that angel back his powers... It's a movie but I see so much meanings in it ...
Loved this Episode and i Hope theres another Season :)
I cried, good and bad tears. All this she did, all this she tried to do just to finally become a good person. She was struggling to get rid of her past. I was also crying because of how sad it is, she died and never got the chance to fully redeem herself. Although, she was a good person and was fully there she just needed more time. She died for someone. I cried my ass off
One of the saddest, yet most beautiful story arcs I've seen in a long time.
Easily top 3 scenes of Lucifer. At 1:12 when Amenadiel is in quiet contemplation, then the vocals enter as he looks up in the sky and his wings appear. Just perfect.
An angel flying!! It's beautiful 😍♥️
This scene was too emotional
This is the MOST AMAZING scene in this show
You are a legendary character of Amenadiel.
What a fucking great scene.
No matter how many times i see this, it is IMPOSSIBLE to not cry.
Watched this episode on Netflix today and cried so so much!
Why they cancel the show, the show is funny on the right moments,it's serious in the right moments, and it's emocional in the right moments, this scene was lovelly, and perfect, very well done,i hope they get this show for a renew, don't cancel the show when now the story is getting interested every episode that passes,i want this show back
Who's with me?
Filipe Oliveira Netflix saved the show just yesterday, season 4 is happening
Juan Reyes yes,i read that, finally we can see what happens next
That's why it's SO GOOD. Love Netflix's shows and especially Lucifer (it's theirs now lmao, good save, Netflix), they can deliver humor and beautiful scenes so well (some, not all, but a lot of them are good)
“Meet you at the crossroads “
Bone Thugs
Juan Reyes i played that song over this scene. Lol.
John Wow It fits perfectly
This scene has a separate fanbase.
Whenever I need a good cry....I just come and watch this clip. One of the best scenes in this series.
He believed in himself 😮that he was worthy.. why don’t we do that often?
She’s in heaven now
I actually feel this
nau tuangpi all i hear is someone chopping onions. And its getting to me.
Best scene ever!!!
Is it weird that dan opening the waffle maker made me cry
He took her to Heaven because they redeemed themselves side by side. Best scene of the series.
The best detail is how Amenadiel acted strong for her but as soon as she passed, he burst into tears
Amenadiel represents the show
Charlottet represents the very last episode
Chloe and Dan represent the fans
Lucifer represents the WB studio
The feather represents a thank you to us
My Wait Is Over to see the angel's wings and see
How beautifully i got to see them..
Everything is masterplan.
Watch his wings They show light, a direction a way..
They are lovely
Any one notice he’s wearing the same shirt as he did when he lost his wings in the mirror
Oh good eyes
Hes was actually shirtless in the scene with the mirror
Two characters in the show went through hell and returned - Malcolm and Charlotte. Both of them experienced the horrors of hell.
Malcolm returned from hell and became even more evil than before. He was willing to do anything to avoid going back to hell, which led him to make deals with both Amenadiel and Lucifer. He killed two innocent people and framed Lucifer for their deaths. In the end, he even kidnapped Trixie and attempted to kill Chloe and Lucifer.
On the other hand, Charlotte wanted to change her ways after returning from hell. She wanted to undo the wrongs she had committed in her life. She didn't want to protect criminals; instead, she wanted to put them behind bars. She ultimately made the ultimate sacrifice for an angel.
I remember watching this while baking and crying all over the dough
I know why he said let's go home because his mum was in Charlottes body and she wanted to go home so he took the soul of charlotte to heaven
I firmly believe that the reason he regained his powers is because he didn't need him for himself. He needed them to take Charlotte to Heaven.
When he got over himself, and just needed to do something good he couldn't do without his wings, his failures and guilt stopped mattering.
2 years have past and still this gave me chills everytime i watched it
Amenadiel's wings are very inconsistent. They were black in season 1, now grey in season 3, and both in season 4. Maybe it's like Lucifer's shifting appearances and its controlled by his emotions; black wings when he is pissed (like going to see Lucifer in season 1 and going to get his son back in season 4) and grey when he is calm.
Reasonable Gump I saw it more as his black wings were a representation of his blind loyalty to his father and when he rebels against him he feels he’s becoming like Lucifer thus his wing became lighter
Amenadiel's wings changed with him while he was fallen. It would seem an angel's wings are a reflection of who the angel really is, in their heart. Black-winged Amenadiel was a warmongering, arrogant, and proud soldier. Grey-winged Amenadiel is a protector; kind, compassionate, and just
Why doesn't Amenadiel after this have his time-stopping power in Season 4
I am crying so much, soooo much. This was awesome.
He got his wings back because he finally that humans were not Beneath him and human emotions
Goosebumps cry thsi is gut reching
I wonder if amanadiel is able to slow time again, too.
Cried my eyes out on this scene
Imagine dying in the arms of an Angel and knowing he will take care of you
The songs the only reason I care, humans..
How pathetic, amusing but also pathetic..
Question now... does everyone but lucifer actually use their wings?...
Hes used his wings a few times
I keep forgetting.. was the lesson his dad.. well 'god' was trying to teach him what it meant to be human instead of an egotistical celestial??
Its just awesome to watch after waiting for so long time...
One of the most emotional moments in Lucifer series.
This is such a good show, season 5 finale will be amazing
amenadiel really lost dan and charlotte 😭
