Why are you taking a bit of the coffee grounds out?
✨ The coffee recipe requires 23gr dose of the coffee ground, and most of the time, the grinder is being inaccurate, either giving me too much or too little, so I have to scoop it out :)

✨ You have to obtain a visa that allows you to come, stay & work in here first, then you can apply for a Barista job. Most people from other countries (I was too) use Work & Holiday Visa.

It's hard to find good ones, especially ones that don't have a music soundtrack over them and/or that don't just stare at one person (i.e. study with me videos) or an empty room. I remembered during my barista days , opening shift is sometimes become so terrible esp. if the coffee shop offers a breakfast meal . But somehow it's so satisfying and fun to work in a coffeeshop!

This is how all of us in the UK are getting our coffee shop vibe now we’ve gone back into full lockdown, I miss going out, getting a coffee (double ‘spro SO fwiw) and a pastry and just watching the world go by for a while. We sometimes use it for ghost steaming, haha.. But at the time this video was recorded, I was still not confident to do the ghost steaming.. But I am now.. hehe

Never tried ghost steaming at home (single boiler machine + espresso drinker), I’ve seen it done once when our regular coffee place was rammed on a weekend. Props to you for learning something new tho!
