I loved the black more - for the drama, coziness, and how it elevated the space.
I'd bet good money you'll be sick of that boring beige in less than a year.
I like both, but I loved the dark moody bedroom more. I thought it was bolder and more designer looking.
The room looks good. It’s just generic and nothing interesting now. Kind of weird how a paint color can do that.
The room looks wonderful and more relaxing; it is more of my preferred aesthetic. But most importantly, is how both of you who actually live there and use the space feel about it! And no worries , the universe recorded it for you anyway! Enjoy the airy springtime bedroom vibes!
I think it looked best 1 yr ago when you have only 1 wall painted in dark color and the rest of the room beige/ white. you're changing your mind so much on your bedroom decor...I hope it's because you just want to show us different styles instead of constantly not happy with it. Timeless style should be timeless, trend is short lived.

I’m in a rental and the “color of the year” is what my place is currently painted in and I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT. I can’t wait to move so I can paint the new place bc we didn’t want to paint our current place bc the ceiling, doors, baseboards AND walls are all painted that creamy beige color so it would just be too much time, effort and money to redo. I LOVED the old color of your bedroom, so I am of course partial to the old color. The new color does look good but it just reminds me so much of builder beige and being a renter it’s all you get….or recently gray which is now considered outdated, so while it may be “new” to the designer world it’s old to me and I will not be jumping on that trend. Also, I’m not saying this to be mean or anything AT ALL, just giving you my honest opinion, but your room now looks more like a staged room than a designer home, which of course is BEAUTIFUL but I felt the other color looked more hi-end and curated. And because I’ve seen the new color all over IG, I feel the old look was just something different than what’s mainly out there. Seriously, it really is pretty, but comparatively LOOOVED the dark color better.
Funny how fickle the industry of interior decor is when it was trashing beige on walls not long ago and now it is raving about it. That is why you should always do what you want regardless.
OMGosh I freaking LOVE it!!! I am definitely team natural cream over the locust black(but that was nice too). It seriously changes the whole feel of the room. Most black & white contrast has always been too much for me...but what you have going on now flows and moves in a relaxing way. Love the matching night stands, lamps, and no sconces. LOVE that you carried the color into the bathroom. Love that you left the exterior door black...Love, LOVE, LOVE!!!

Nice but actually preferred the darker colour, my first introduction to your channel as I love dark interiors. Cream and black was my kitchen colour years ago with warm wood accents.
