Isn't it supposed that in order to be considered a village and therefore can summon golems, you only need 3 villagers with 3 beds?
For anybody having trouble, this farm wasn’t working on my server until I moved the slab the zombie hits its head on one block up so it’s connected to the 4 slab roof. You can also improve the rates if you’d like by sending them to the nether, but lava should work fine. Hope this helps you!

A few things about this iron farm, at least in the current 1.21 version. 1. The villagers were too far from the zombie so they wouldn't see him at night; move the villagers one block closer. 2. There is nothing to protect the villagers from getting struck by lightning (if lightning strikes the slab roof they get turned into witches); build a glass ceiling over each pod about 4-5 blocks above the slab roof. 3. Golems spawning outside the walls; either need to slab the surrounding area, build it underground with NO air gaps, or ideally build it up in the air. Once those things were optimized, this farm started performing really well. Also, I don't recommend afking above it. Lost all my stuff twice.

For anybody looking to build this farm in the spawn chunks, with the new changes in 1.20.5 this farm is 7 blocks too big to fit in the spawn chunks area. If you are like me, and your world is older and you already built this, I'm sorry to tell you that your world will default to the new 3x3 spawn chunks. I was looking for an easy fix, and I thought that to make it fit I could make the platform at 7:04 shorter (3 blocks long, instead of 6) on all four sides. I've done some testing in a creative world, and it seems like the performance of the farm was severely handicapped. I'm getting somewhere around 30% - 40% of what the video advertises while away from spawn (keep in mind this is a very rough estimation). Since you can stack layers and in the spawn chunks it will be constantly loaded, to me it's not really a big deal. It's still more iron than I will ever need. That being said there's probably better options out there :3
The farm was working great but then all of a sudden it stopped spawning golems there are none spawning outside the farm just none spawning at all yes I am on Java as well
Few things. 1. Theoretical limit with 8 villager clusters is actually 3840 iron/h, so there's no way you're actually performing 4k+ like you claim. 2. The golemn spawn platform: a. gets rid of them too slowly with the water, you're better off dropping them; b. is too close to multiple villager clusters (within 16 block radius) and thus putting all villager clusters on cooldown (the spawning platform has to be within 6 blocks heightwise, but you can drop right after); c. has no way to let the villagers actually sleep once a day which is a requirement for spawning, you can just use a singlepulse daylight sensor with a pulse extender, or maybe ever a button with a piston to block the zombie for a few seconds each day.

Hi, first of all love your farms Question: if I expand above, how many floors till the rates will be reduced, thanks (I mean, will each floor give 3.5k ingots?)
No Yes you can do this until you reach until build limit just go up by 16 blocks from the villagers ( rooftop ) and repeat the same thing you did in bottom layer
Playing on an online server, does the villages need to be sleeping overnight without players sleeping and making it day time or should the night cycle go on till it becomes morning?

My iron golems aren’t spawning
Can anyone help me iron golems keep spawning on zombie roof
spawn proof it then put a carpet or something on top of it
You forgot to add the stairs into the building material list
You build almost only creeper farms and iron farms xD
Oh men😂😂
I need help asap anyone know my villagers aren't sleeping the beds are correct, its 1.21 server , only 1 side working
You may need to increase space above the beds to 2 blocks or higher to get them to sleep in the beds
@@jovy5245 ok
I built this farm in multiplayer and after a while it stops spawning golems? somehow the only fix i found was to break the slabs on top of their head and make them sleep again, then replace the slabs
I fixed it by changing direction of the beds! Had to follow precisely the video
@@animeup9561 well done!
Yo after i afk for like two night iron golems dont spawn anymore what should i do????
Let the villager sleep once more
Is it alright if i build it in the air?
yes
Guys i need to know will this work in 1.20.6 on an aternos server?
Yeah , it will
yes
Hey im here to ask if the slabs can be used instead of the stairs? Because there arent any stairs mentioned in the required materials
@@SuluCOS he forgot the pinned comment said that
where do you afk
DEAR GOD NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! I just finished your previous one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Thank you for your work though!)
😕Oh..
Thank you but you can still upgrade it
@@TheySix yeah, the thing is that I build it in the middle of the ocean, it's gonna be a pain!
HANDS DOWN MY FAVORITE IRON FARM EVER! built it yesterday, added an item sorter and a crafter and im already at almost3 double chest of iron blocks and a chest of bonemeal
Is this farm expandable ?
Yes just go up by 16 blocks from the villagers and make another layer
More like 5 stacks per hour
make sure your villagers slept overnight and you placed the beds correctly also the height of the m are correct
does it works on 1.18.2?
Yes
Pro tip: place 2 slabs where the villagers are looking at the zombie so they can sleep if you are building this in multiplayer, worked for me, secondly you only need 3 villagers, and instead of doing 2 block wall you can use walls and use glass panes in the corners so the iron golems don't get stuck, and if you're planing to stack this build it 16 blocks above :), hope this helps
What do u mean place slabs where
Hi, first of all love your farms
Question: if I expand above, how many floors till the rates will be reduced, thanks
(I mean, will each floor give 3.5k ingots?)
No Yes you can do this until you reach until build limit just go up by 16 blocks from the villagers ( rooftop ) and repeat the same thing you did in bottom layer
Oh, thank you very much ❤
@@furygaming279 🙂💕
But the hassle to move the villagers and zombie would be epic
could you tell me why my villagers don't want to sleep? (I haven't placed the zombie in his place yet and there aren't any nearby)
make sure you placed the beds correctly
how many stairs do we need, you didn't specify in the item list

@@TheySix thank you

Playing on an online server, does the villages need to be sleeping overnight without players sleeping and making it day time or should the night cycle go on till it becomes morning?
Just finished building this, anyone know why there are iron golems spawning outside the farm? Assuming this isnt meant to happen
