- Check out our new eurorack case Eurorack Go for modular synths. Two times 140 hb of space, beefy power supply, stand and carrying handle. Götz is unboxing the case, builds a modular synth with two Model Ds, a Behringer Neutron and a couple of modules.
Unboxing their own product is actually kind of genius. So meta. Their marketing has been killing it lately.
Affordable instruments people want. Sounds simple, right?
Wingo Shackleford tru
Of course it needs to be unboxed, how could it get from China with no box?

Why should UA-camrs get the fun of doing it? 8 - (
Do you guys realize that you have to click on a random Behringer Video to find such a humble, peaceful and respectful community in the comments section? Rare these days and Thank you all!!
Thank you as well. It is nice to see all this and a company that knows they can do it for the people at a fair price. That is what is key here. How can music nerds be mad? ::high fives::
FACTS!!
MindTones Yes, it’s great. Orderly and calm, like a North Korean presidential debate...
Behringer is absolutely killing it. I still have my first Behringer product - a eurorack mixer from about 20 years ago - and it's still working perfectly! :)
This video is so self-aware. Behringer is on a completely different level... Bravo!
they are... just cant wait for them to shut everyone up .. .well done behringer
I was thinking only yesterday, it's been over a week since Behringer realised something. Well done to the girls and boys in white coats.
Behringer are the MVPs of the music world in 2019 hands down.
Brito Worx Behringer looks really good to the consumer but I reckon you should have a look at their glass door reviews
I'm sure they will carry the next few years without breaking a sweat. I'm curious to see what tactical approach synth manufacturers will take to be in league to compete with Behringer.
Yes. It has been interesting and fun to watch Behringer take over a big chunk of the synthesizer market in these last two years. They're doing that by making what musicians WANT and selling it to us at prices we can AFFORD. As long as the quality is good (and so far it seems to be okay) this is a winning formula.
@@jamespayne5068 So we should boycott Behringer because some disgruntled ex-employees badmouth them anonymously?
@@ConwayBob 110% agree. It seems Behringer created the perfect storm of healthy competition that will help evolve the future of electronic music and eventually introduce new technologies in hardware development. With that said, no matter what manufacturer the artist chooses or whatever methods manufacturers take to remain viable, The priority will certainly be in the best interest of the artists, so at the end of the day we get to eat the cake we have at a remarkably affordable price. Its win win all day long at the consumer level.
I am absolutely in love with this. I never knew this was possible to pick and build your different little boards like this. Im new to this stuff and I love it.
Ok now I’m totally convinced you’re reading my mind! You guys rock keep em coming !
Hey guys, we hear your comments. Please join the discussion over @ Facebook and let us know if you prefer rails or individual sliding nuts: facebook.com/BEHRINGER/posts/10157930976473914
Wow..
Jesus that was fast
THE most responsive pro audio company out there right now. The way you have turned your company around is incredible. In just 20 years I have witnessed you move from the lower end of audio reputability to the upper end. You’re innovating at lightening speed and bringing a whole new generation of people into your affordable pricing strategy with excellent analog synthesis tools and toys. 2020 is going to be awesome for music making
Why not both?
@@JesusGarciaNailed because that would be a manufacturing nightmare
Unbelievable.. Behringer is just killing it lol
I especially like it that you are soliciting comments from your potential customers about what sort of fastening system to use. That's brilliant.
I already had a neutron and and I just got my pro 1 today. Thank you so, so much for making these sounds available to me!
Thank you Behringer, for everything. You're the best synth company of 2019, hands down. I was hoping so much for a eurorack case and here we are. I can't wait for the modules! And also for a proper poly synth clone (I'm gonna buy the UB-XA and the DS80 while they still are in preproduction!)
This makes me so ecstatic. They're giving synthesists what we really want. We tried to tell you Moog, but you didn't listen! Now Uli is our new and improved God.
I love me a good Moog :) I don't need someone that gives me what I want but someone that gives me the DFAM!
Eldar Sounds like you got suckered into paying $1200 USD for extruded plastic. Tip-top is price gouging and probably laughing.
@@31pas0 you didn't notice the Moog 900-series modules they used? Moog won't give that to us, so Uli is stepping up and doing the right thing while Moog is still busy raping Bob's corpse.
Speak for yourself. Uli Cloneinger is no God and definitely not mine.
@@smashsystem Alright, you keep sucking at Bob's dead teets, but don't go crying to anyone when you're shelling out a few grand for a Moog modular that the rest of us got for a couple hundred bucks, bruh.
I had so much fun using the Crave, now I'm craving for more analog synths. That little semi modular has opened my appetite for the crazy wonderful world of modular madness. Wish me luck😂
Thank you behringer
WOW,
Behringer on a roll, they are relentless and full of surprise !!!
Cant wait for the Behringer eurorack modules!
same!!!
For 29$ each :-D
wooo would be very cool
And Behringer will start producing modules and adding them to breakfast cereals :-D
But .... Just ins and outs ? and no cv ??
Absolutely insane that a company releases an announcement video for a new product, a few people complain about the mounting system, and Behringer says they will change their product... not like months later, but on the same fucking announcement video! Hats off to you! 🎩 🧢
What an awesome company! I have been buying Behringer for over 20 years and will keep buying till I die :)
The case looks amazing and wait... Behringer modules are coming?!?! YES THANK YOU!!!
Looks fantastic! Now please make a three tiered one with a regular PC style power cable, so we can use easily obtainable parts for gigging. Nothing worse than having someone damage a proprietary cable or power supply at a gig.
I was just thinking that it had been more than a week since Behringer had excited me with something amazing. Nice timing.
Yall have completely turned your company into a affordable beast
love it
Behringer is a great company, i love your gear! Greetings from Australia!
quietly drops in "some new eurorack modules"
LOL - Behringer kills it again
Incredible! I’m all in! BEHRINGER!!❤️
You guys rock ... happy holidays to Behringer crew !
I love this guy! And I really love Behringer products.
Eurorack cases are so overpriced. Glad to see behringer stepping into this market. Will bring more people into Euro which is a win for all.
How much is it? Price already mentioned? I’m at work and can’t watch the vid atm. Peace guys
@@Appgecheckt haven't seen anything official but heard others say $200
Gekauft
@@stashusclay 200 would be amazing. I just paid 200 for a used Make Noise Skiff case that is 104 hp of space total. Cases are so pricey.
It's $300. Still seems expensive to me but I got one anyway so my Model D, Pro-1, and Wasp can be in one box with one plug. I'm not too into little desktop synths so this large box of knobs is more inspiring for me. Plus, the prices on these synths is dropping so maybe that makes the price of the Eurorack case more acceptable.
Can't wait for B to branch into the automotive industry!
Always wanted a Ferrani!!!!
It all sounds really good and that rack looks slick.
SOOO glad you're doing Eurorack! 👍
PLEASE, no plastic bag for the sticker.
why? I use plastic bags to store unused things in it.
shape shifter like unused Behringer stickers?
@@OffworldRecords exactly
The final product will not contain a separate bag for the sticker!
@@behringer attention to comments and timely response to your customers is stunning.
Here's my input-- make more stuff like the neutron. The clones are cool, but keep making unique stuff and I will keep buying it up. I want new sounds! (And you'd engender less hate from the synth clone purusts).
I have the deepmind and the neutron and love them. If you guys made a low cost additive digital synth with sampling and modular patch points or something wild like that, I would go absolutely crazy. Hydra territory. The future!
Thank you for making synthesis attainable to the less fortunate and enthusiasts.
Finally people without their parents’ trust fund can get into Eurorack!
Tom Poynton Doepfer
Dacci Pucci can’t even afford those on my budget. I’ll be getting Behringer and Dreadbox
@@tompoynton how about going to work and save up some money? All Eurorack I have is hard earned. No parents involved.
Damn, these comments... As if Behringer is the second coming of christ.
Cool i'll work an extra shift at McDonalds and buy the Moog One. Maybe in ten years...
Dam... I keep trying to go fully in box, and you all keep bringing me back out!!!
they are makeing ALL the right moves. fabulous!
Behringer, you guys have definitely upped your game. Amazing products! When Behringer started, everyone was amused. Well, those people are not laughing anymore :D
Got shivers watching this and I'm not even into modular synthesis.
Just finished filling out my case with modules last week! Great case!
You guys are killing it. You're killing my pocketbook too. I can't wait to get a Poly D connected to my Neutron with some modules fronted by my Deepmind all routed through my XR18. Thanks for making music affordable!!
Loving it guys, killin it at the moment
You've got my attention!! 😲 Please make enough modules that we can fill the entire rack with just *your modules*. 😀 👊 🔥
I'm talking about Sequencers, Oscillators, Drum synth modules, a one-shot *SAMPLE IMPORT* module, Quantizer, mixers, multiples, reverb, delay - THE WORKS! You got this! I'm rooting for you! 👍
Killer!!! Behringer is going all out, time for me to go all IN.
I allways want a Eurorack but i never want to spend hundrets of Bugs, just for the case. Finaly YOU will make it happen now. Behringer makes the great change from pfui to hui ! We love you for this.
Behringer really Knows what People want. I Love it.
You need to change your name. ;-)
@@rhkavli my mother did this to me. what can i do. :)
I would love to see this with an integrated keyboard it would make a great product into an awesome product!
Tanks Behringer for listening to your fan base and the market hopefully Behringer moving to the euro rack market will open it up more and make it more affordable. I’m excited to see what kind of modulair modules your going to bring out
Man you guys are killin it
Ol Uri is changing the synth game..
Please let us know when we can expect this to come out
Looks great. I'm in. Looking forward to whatever you guys have up your very long sleeves next! 💸💸💸
the most honest video and ive even learned what other reviews doesnt show :D thank you
Behringer reinventing the game👍
Outrageously cool.
Id like to see you guys make another swing around into the Effect Pedal Department. Some epic reverbs(like behingers own version of a Bluesky) and stuff to counterpart the synths and stuff would be wild.
I do love your older pedal lines, but maybe theres some new plans? Have you heard the reverb on the Yamaha CP88? What if there was a synth focused standalone MULTI EFFECTS thats made for knob twisting and has multiple ins and outs for customization, looking like a real sweet new modern Behringer Product line.
Get those Tycho sounds.
Behringer is so so soooo cooool! filled with goodness
I've used Behringer product for a long time, but has only now realized this posibility! Veeeeeeeeeeeery nice!!
God dammit I only have so much money.
Then make more. ;-)
I wish yt algorithm would understand, I can drop two or three hundred on a peice of audio equipment... not 10x that.
Oh boy, Tiptop will be pissed. That looks very similar to a Mantis. Digging this but sad to see that they went with the sliding nuts. Effing hate them. I am hoping B will also provide an option with threaded rails. Also, glad to see the plug to Modulargrid. That site deserves all the love we can give it!
What's the issue with sliding nuts? (Never used them)
MB positioning the nuts where you want your module to be will take some getting used to. Since we will always be changing things around (eurocrack 😁), it will be a pain to deal with moving the nuts around accordingly. Also, according to Murphy’s law, the place where you want your module to be is the place where you won’t have any nuts left. So, you will have to constantly remove modules that you don’t need to touch, simply to get out any nuts buried under them...and so on. They do give you a great fit since you can move them and may be squeeze the odd extra HP out of the rack.
@@moralboundaries1 there's no issue. Just distribute extras to the left , right, and center. If you need to move something you then only have to take out one module and expose the extra nuts, loosen a few screws and slide everything down. With threaded inserts aka fixed position holes, you may have to take out all your modules just to scoot them down to open up space. It's a hotly debated topic and anyone who thinks threaded rail are better are simply wrong. :)
Like all of Eurorack stuff, sliding nuts have a learning curve, but it's not that big of a deal honestly. I've removed my entire 104hp x2 rack several times now and it never takes me longer than a couple of hours to literally rearrange the entire thing.
@@kurbfeeler agreed. I think your mileage will vary with threaded set rails. It's not that hard to slide nuts around (hah) on your rack (hah).
Excited to learn what kind of eurorack modules they'll be releasing
I love Behringer , I just seen Moog modular clones wooohoooo exactly what I’ve been waiting for
Why Behringer? Why? I've been trying to avoid going down the modular eurorack rabbit hole and price has been a great factor in holding my enthusiasm.
Now your going eurorack? With Behringer quality and pricing?
I'm tempted to fly to your HQ and protest holding a sign that reads "will work for Behringer synth gear"...
If Behringer will do some cheap modules, that would be great, tho. I think now the most of eurorack modules are handcrafted, and that's the reason why their price is so high
I recommend looking into AE modular. Definitely very different from Eurorack, but a hell of a lot cheaper.
Behringer owns the game right now cant wait for all the modules this is dope for under 100 bucks
They are killing it
It's crazy to see Götz in a Behringer video after I've been at a cubeaudio workshop in göttingen about 8-10 Years ago :)
Go, go power Behringers!
Behringer your hitting it out of the park these days! Please Please UBXa!
Now my list for Christmas is complete. Just a filled Eurorack GO with all the Behringer Gear :)
YEEEAAAHHH!!! Absolutely NEEDED in the market at an affordable price! Plus... kudos for the Stranger Things cover - DALLAS TX natives!
YES YES YEESS!!! FINALYYYY!!! I NEED THIS!!!
You make it sound like this has never been done before... this is the exact same size and layout as the TIpTop Audio Mantis case, and will probably be near the same price (this is the one area that Behringer can't really compete on price as much.) It's fine that they're bringing out their own case, but if you really want to get into Eurorack, what have you been waiting for? Get the Mantis case, or the new Arturia cases, or the countless others that are all about the same...
Hopefully, we'll see. It's a very different market. I use to work in this industry for both big manufacturers (like M-Audio) as well as small Eurorack start-ups, it's easy for Behringer to beat everyone in the synth market, but the Euroack case market, there is just not that much they will be able to cut corners on or save money on; they will practically have to give these away without making any profit just to come in at $199, but my prediction is it will be $249 U.S. (which is $50 less than Mantis.)
Regarding the videogame analogy, that's probably exactly what they will be doing, because it definitely worked in the games industry (I use to work in that industry before the music industry; head of Game Testing on titles like Crash Bandicoot and Spyro The Dragon when I worked for Universal Interactive Studios.) Good analogy!
my comment was more related to the fact that the eurorack modules from Behringer are coming! Maybe in a few months 😄😄 waiting since April 😃
Awe, yes, that will definitely be interesting to see what they do with the modules!
did someone mentioned already that the theme from Stranger Things is made on a 2-voice Oberheim??
It was made on a moog modular
It was made with plasma.
@@The_Invisible_Man nope, the guys who wrote the music stated they use a 2 voice Oberheim and no seqeuncer... follow the link www.soundonsound.com/techniques/scoring-stranger-things
@@RichardDenRooyen1973 just found that interview. They said it was a Moog modular for the main sequence and SEM for the lead.
@@The_Invisible_Man they use a modular yes, but for the main theme, that nice seqeunce, they really used the Oberheim 2-voice
After waiting nearly 10 years I finally took a dip into eurorack a few weeks ago on Black Friday. Kinda wish I had waited just a little bit longer.
Behringer are smashing it right now. The product range and frequency of newly released gear is amazing. I've been trying to get into Eurorack but have been put off because I can't find a suitable, all in one case. Et voila, Behringer just solved my problem!
Why would you prefer this case over the Mantis? (Just curious)
Yes again very cool but i will keep asking WHERE'S THE RD-9 lol.
But anyway this is pretty handy as building a eurorack modular is on my to do list.
Probably coming in couple of weeks;)
@Behringer make a case with a lid so it's actually a carry case. This one is called "GO" but you can't go anywhere with an open lid Eurorack case.
I’m sure there will be a decksaver eventually, I use the decksaver with my mantis and it lets me leave patches connected (mostly) when I travel with it.
i guess you can put it in soft keyboard keys easilly
@@phuturemusic A case is not a lid tho.
It needs a lid!!
babebibobuzful Also my first thought when it was unboxed...

When can we buy this?
A few of my overlays did a cameo at 3:24 thanks to the ModularGrid. :)
These are good times to get into modulars/synths.
From hissy mixers to Modular synths. Behringer just stole the limelight.
This is literally Tiptop Audio's Mantis case. Wonder whats the price diff.
It’s quite a shame to rip it off in such an obvious manner. They could have come up with their own version of the design at least. What’s even more shameful is that if it’s 200 € I will buy it. Euro cases are extremely expensive, just as the modules are.
It’s 70hp larger and its way less toyish looking. The mantis has a pretty robust power supply though. I’ll be curious to see how this one works out.
