Nurses do not beat like that, rather they give slight taps to highlight veins that are not prominent. If a licensed personnel has been tapping you then your veins need the tapping.

The vein searching thing happened with me too. But after four to five tries the nurse said " You are looking fine, you don't need any injection . Go home".🤣
I actually had one who searched and poked, finally got in, and then rolled the needle under my vein and tried to go back up into it. (This was not comfortable...at all😖😣) finally, she broke down crying and apologizing, and another phlebotomist had to take over. And she went sobbing to the back room. I didn't have the heart to be upset after that.
Actually o always have to calm the nurse down. They get really upset,nervous and sweaty bc it's so hard to find a vein that works on me. I always have to tell them it is okay and it will work eventually. I do believe they are sorry. I hate it when they poke you and then start searching in all directions-it hurts! But they usually give their best!
