Wow. What an amazing interview. I remember watching Shane back in his NASCAR days and to see how wise he’s became is an awesome sight. The whole racing community is behind Shane and he’s got so much more ahead of him.
You can not respect this man. He has been the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. To come out of that with the perspective he has is amazing. Proud of you Shane!
Wes brother I believe you’re on your way as a content creator & host. I’ve always pulled for Shane to reach his goals, even before the Terre Haute accident. Just wanted to let you know I have watched this interview multiple times. It’s outstanding. Good Luck in all your future projects.
What a great job by you both!!! I've watched Shane throughout his career. Watched him at Haubstaut in a USAC sprint rippin' it. Going to look him up on I racing...
Amazing story! I so much admire his wisdom and the candid way he can admit his shortcomings as a young person, and overcome them to inspire others. Keep up the good work Shane!
Can relate to many things from this interview through racing... If you have the time please comment back. Either way good inspiration and thanks for being so open, honest, also transparent as a racer that could fix his wrongs or so called get his fix with a seat and 4 Hoosiers on race day but had a hard time mon thru fri so to speak. Living that life its hard to explain so please reach out I've tried talking and they don't get it because I feel they don't understand how rewarding it feels to feel the adrenalin and and smart/geometry behind the scenes stuff as well as the talking amongst other racers or crew guys its like a brotherhood.

Literally one of the best drivers of all times
Glad he got help and continues to fight for his body. He’s made something out of nothing. I wish Shane nothing but the best.

Shane was a truly talented driver back in his Busch days.. he wheeled a car with no sponsorship money better than cars with sponsorship..
