I am full of respect for HGV drivers. The skills, patience and calm it must require is amazing. Just the idea of parking one in reverse makes me shudder. Good video!
It's not been VOSA for 10 years now , but the biggest laugh is that VOSA became the DVSA on 1st APRIL 2014.... This has got to be the longest April fools joke ever .. 🤣🤣🤣
Another fun vlog, best bet though if your going north is to stay on the M74 onto the M73, M80, M9 and come off at the Vosa station in Stirling and go through Cairnlarach then onto the Oban road, it adds 10mins and is much nicer than the Loch Lomond road!
Refreshing to see so many fellow truckers, flashing, waving and just enjoying their encounter with you 😂 so many bitter and jealous drivers on the Facebook forums.
@@johntucker3693 no bro I'm from Bangladesh where it can rain during six months of the year or more and during that time many farm lands get drowned in water and get destroyed. And in worse case it floods whole villages
If you collab with other tubers make sure you give them a date to release footage so we don't get spoilers I've already seen who and where the truck goes too lol
Small update from my comment a few videos ago: Got a phone call yesterday and I'm starting my lorry course next month, thanks again for the inspiration Tim!
4:07 Marlborough is my hometown lol but I now live in Houston Texas & drive 18 wheelers for FedEx - You should have given Marlborough some Tangs, Tones & side pipe………….they love it !!! 😆
I can't wait for a new video from you Tim and when we get one it always makes my day, i have to say your channel has done more good for the image of trucking than any other channel on UA-cam. Excellent job Tim and that little Scania tipper looks like a really clean well looked after truck.
Hey! If you start before 5AM, you're only allowed to have 10 hours of work time during a day (including driving). jsyk ;) Police wasn't too happy with my colleague a few years back when he had put his card in at 4:58 in the morning and worked for a total of 13 hours. After that he always made sure to put the card in at 5:01 to make sure he's not doing "night work".
Watch your videos all the time, i live in royal wootton bassett and would have just missed you as i go along the high street at 5, keep up the good work
I will load tomorrow in Grenoble France for the Shetland Islands, heading home after loading for the Easter weekend first. Next week tuesday I will leave in Holland to Aberdeen to catch the ferry thursday. Looking forward to this trip. Never been there before. Keep up the vids and keep the shiny side up Tim!
Very well done on this, what a ride and what a great sounding truck. Can you do a trip where you put the camera on the passenger side and film the whole journey! Great work, love this.
You might be interested to know that, although your collection from lower Feltham, was just outside the ULEZ. Due to the road closure, it would have been literally impossible for you to have collected from that address, without hitting the zone. The only direction you could have approached from, without hitting the zone (Hamilton rd) has a 7.5t limit and is unsuitable for an artic.
Oioi timbo another cracking video as always! You might be interested to know, after 2 years of enjoying your content...... I'm looking to book my class 1 theory next month!!!!!!!! So next time we cross paths, I might be in a rig instead of a poxy van!
The nice thing about American ELDs is you can creep at 5~ mph and it doesnt read you as driving, so you can park up without it registering as drive time 🤣
Lol, just watching this video and lo just round the corner from where we live. If we had known we'd have come to get some tangs!! Yes the road closure is a complete pain!!!!
Hi Tim, do you ever watch Bruce Wilson in the USA? he has Imported some SCANIAS and the yanks are amazed. worth a watch when you are on rest time. Safe trucking bud.
In Australia we have a think called “ ice packs “ basically a night cooler that’s a little generator that runs on the trucks diesel and actually charges the batteries
If you had gone up on Friday the 29th of March I would have seen you because im taking my caravan up to Scotland I love it over towards lock lomond but I'm going to glen coe and Ben nevis. Might see you on the way back though.
Yes this is the vid when I seen you making your way back down on the M74 you had not long past crawford and you was pulling the yellow trailer I was on my way up to bellshill that was two weeks ago now I gave you a flash as I passed I couldn't see you through your tinted windows was wondering when the vid was coming to the channel
Hey mate. Thx for the vids. I'm ex trucker from South Africa. I see you're concerned for vandalism. I thought it was only here that our trucks get vandalised Safe wheels man.
Hey tim I was just in London for soccer training with my family I am a american trucker I was taking pics of all those European trucks in London. I would have love a tour of your truck
Shame you don’t put out your route a few day before it would be great to see the truck. I used to live in RWB and no live near Heathrow. I know the roads in between very well.
Love the content ❤ I'm a local to Lancaster I know you where out time but next time go 2 junctions up and stay at truck haven carnforth it's brilliant food good bar gym etc
Hey Tim, if you are still driving under the end of daily driving, say you didn't get to the service before, what would happen like to the truck itself.
Considering the inevitable increase in use of cleaner more modern cars, including electric cars, the emmisions will improve with or without the ULEZ system. When I was a child, we had leaded petrol and asbestos in our brakes. So, we have come a long way with reducing harmful tail pipe emmisions. Not helped one bit by ULEZ.
You are not charged for the ULEZ, but for the LEZ ( I know, pedantics, but there is a difference), and you only pay if your vehicle is non-compliant. A Euro VI engined truck, doesn't pay the charge (I'm in and out of London every day).
Great video as always Tim. Greetings from Finland. Those hydraulic steering trailers are a lifesaver when hauling for farms and for abnormal and long loads around tight places, I pull those every day. Just need to watch the swing to the other side when turning tightly around. I have two designated trailers, a 3 axle lowloader trailer and 5 axle extendable trailer, 19 meters short and total lenght 55meters fully extended. Both of them are equipped with hydraulic steering. Love that steering, I also have remote controls to play around with the steering if needed.
Ooooo that exhaust note, lovely!
Your interaction with other truck drivers melts my heart. Lovely stuff. Worth a sub!!!
Me too 😊 makes me grin so hard. That’s one of the best feelings ever when interacting with other road users who share the same passion ❤
We need more head POV's in the truck TIM, BRING THEM BACK!!! Please
Ye I know 😢
yes because its illegal what he is doing currently holding the camera while driving and recording himself
but its okay as i have reported it to police and dvsa

It's so weird to see the rain that happens 24/7 continuously
It rains for days sometimes
it honestly feels non-stop. I went to dubai for a week and it was a blessing not having to worry about getting soaking wet and cold

Yes Tim! You drove past my front door. You missed a trick at Milk at Mile Elm, the sausage rolls are amazing!
I brought a van from the same place you picked up tipper . Top man and good motors from there .

Brilliant reversing 🇬🇧🇬🇧 it must be wonderful to have the freedom of the road, and not stuck in an office 🇬🇧🇬🇧 enjoy these type of videos.
Clever how all the low emmision air knows how to stay in 1 place and not get blown some where else with the wind and vice versa.

Hey Tim, if you are still driving under the end of daily driving, say you didn't get to the service before, what would happen like to the truck itself.
This was definately an "Oh, what a day!" video
I feel bad that it’s £100 a day to go into the Scam ULEZ Zone in a truck & £12.50 for non-compliant cars like myself.
It would be a shame if something scraped one letter of your license plate thus rusting that letter and making the ULEZ not able to read it
Considering the inevitable increase in use of cleaner more modern cars, including electric cars, the emmisions will improve with or without the ULEZ system.
When I was a child, we had leaded petrol and asbestos in our brakes.
