It really nice to see someone carry on a ministry like y’all. I appreciate y’all almost thoughts of God y’all are getting through to people that need it. Thank you so much.
Hope you guys go down the rabbit hole that is Home Free. There harmonies are unmatched. This group has 5 beat boxers, 5 tenors and 2 awesome basses. With the holidays coming up, can't wait for you to do their Christmas songs. Do you hear what I hear, O holie night, and one of There originals called Snow Glob.
Woah who said they weren’t Christians ! Austin ( long wavy hair )grew up in Tifton Georgia in church his father was a Southern Gospel singer and Austin is travelled all over with him. Tim ( bass ) also grew up in the Church Of Christ singing Christian A Capella music. Adam ( beatboxer) & Chris ( founders ) mother was the music director for their church. Rob and Chance not much known about their religion but I’m sure it’s not different from the others
@@LynnRamsay Thanks Lynn. Obviously their beliefs influence their song choice, and much more. But their message of love and inclusivity speaks to many of us beyond the Christian faith. They embrace a range of music and I fell they welcome all fans.
I'm not sure who told you that they aren't Christians, but I wouldn't bet any money on that. I know for a fact that Adam Rupp (beatboxer) was raised & married in the church. Heck, Home Free's first performance was at a talent show in his church. They've done a number of concerts there. Also know for a fact that Tim (the bass) was raised in the church. Austin (high tenor) definitely was...and he accompanied his father when he sang and toured in a gospel group! Lol They don't sing *exclusively* Christian music nor do they make a point of their faith in concerts, etc. That certainly doesn't mean they're not Christian. They perform an abundance of traditional Christian carols, not just popular Christmas tunes. I've heard them thank God at various times, on camera as well as in song lyrics they've written. *shrugs* Who knows? Maybe. Maybe not. It doesn't necessarily matter to me, but I just don't feel it fair to say they're not when that may not be true. More signs actually point TO it, than against it, in my opinion. 👍
Definitely agree with what you said. When y'all said they weren't Christian, I 'bout got whiplash! They definitely ARE and would probably be offended being denoted as not being known as such. Please disregard who or whatever told you that - it's not legitimate. Probably they were referred to not being a Christian Group. But they are a group of Christians!
Glad I read your comment before I started typing! Thx for addressing that Leslie. Not sure who told them that, but whoever it was should do a little more research on the guys. 🖤
When Austin was a kid he sometimes traveled & sang with his father's gospel quartet in Georgia (he was a faith leader in College). Although Home Free doesn't proselytize, they've never hidden their Christian roots either. Their videos of "Amazing Grace", "Go Tell It on the Mountain" & "How Great Thou Art" among others say it all.
Love Home Free and yes God is good!!! Try Bless the Broken Road, Amazing Grace, Can’t Stop the Feeling. Wait til you hear their Christmas music - O Holy Night, Angels We Have Heard on High, Do You Hear What I Hear, Mary Did You Know. I subscribed for more Home Free!!!😍🤩
Whoever said all the members of HF are not Christian is simply not true. Four of the members roots are in gospel music, and their parents were involve in the church gospel music.
If you love Home Free music learning their names and react to their music, then yes you are Home Fries. "Go Rest High On That Mountain." is another great song. It's so beautiful that you better bring tissues.
Austin who was on those ad libs....grew up with his daddy being a singer in a Southern Gospel Quartet, so he grew up around Gospel and knows it well. You guys are Home Fries I believe ☦☦☦ God bless & rejoice in our heavenly father
You need to listen to their live on stage performance of this… They break the audience into 3 sections. The section sing with one band member and by the end they put the whole song back together! It’s lots of fun!! Austin (high tenor) traveled with his Dads gospel group when he was a kid! Nice reaction
I love this group. I don't listen to CD's or my radio anymore when I am driving. I stream music by Home Free all the time now. That is a beautiful old Plymouth Fury they use in this video.
Some more Home Free suggestions; R & B: End of the Road. Romantic: When a Man Loves a Woman 5 Part Harmony (No beat boxing): Brothers in Arms. Motown (sorta): Blue Ain't Your Color. Country: Hillbilly Bone. Funny Medley: Butt's Remix and Country Fried Pop Medley. Christmas: Mary Did You Know. Beat Boxing: Adam Rupp's Drum Solo. Collaboration: American Pie and Elvira. Patriotic: Tavelin Soldier, God Bless the U.S.A, and Land of the Free. Other Great Songs: In the Blood, Amazed, Blue Ain't Your Color, Folsom Prison Blues, and Fishin’ in the Dark / Down in the Boondocks
One of my favorite "ear worms" 😆 Once I hear Adam's percussion on this one it replays in my head for the rest of the day ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ (And I love HF's attention to details--they consistently put forth the effort with creative touches like the old tv look/old radio sound that IMHO put their music and videos on a level above all others. 🥇)
Home Free is insanely talented...and has a HUGE catalog with over 200 videos! They do upgrades of everything from Gospel to Classic Rock, Do Wop, Country, Pop, Opera, R&B, and even some really awesome originals I have trouble placing into just one genre. We Homefries are very loyal, and one of our favorite things is watching people discover our guys and become Homefries themselves!
Songs with a message - In the Blood, Everybody Walking this Land, Don’t Laugh at Me, Brother, Go Rest High on that Mountain, Amazing Grace, I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For - to name a few. And Chris Rupp (one of the original founders of the group with his brother Adam, the beatboxer) recorded a song with the bass, Tim Faust - Long Black Train, which I love. So many wonderful choices.
Written by and sung by Maren Morris when she entered the country music world. HF got the rights to adapt the song and I consider it an upgrade to what was already a good song.
Im not religious (and way back when I was, I wasnt Christian) but I do love hearing HF sing this type of music. And you two are cuter than a pile of kittens!
Thanks for watching...you are a wonderful couple, and glad you found out how talented these guys are. They really have put out some fantastic videos and are tremendously gifted in what they do.
Great reactions folks! Amen for these guys. You just can't be in a bad mood after hearing them. Your right in the fact that while they're singing these songs that they're not only blessing others but themselves as well. God works in his time. Another one that you definitely have to listen to is this one Amazing Grace - Peter Hollens feat. Home Free. Absolutely beautiful. Plus listen to their Christmas songs. In my opinion they are the best group out there right now. Have a great day and God Bless!
Let me tell you a story...I do music, I love music, especially the old timey things. Then, one night, a video came out, this "Home free" group...seemed like a normal "Boy band"....I went through their catalog. But then, this, My Church thing popped up....I watched it 20+ time straight...and then, I felt so moved, I actually went and woke my wife up, needless to say...she was not happy. My point, if a song makes you wake somebody up, it's a great song. All the best. Cheers.
God is good..I had a feeling a sense then when you saw this video at the end of the Home Free reaction prior that you will be reacting to My Church. Thank you and God Bless.
when you accept God, you become His Church. 4 walls does not always a Church make, but 4 chambers can when you accept Him into your 4 chambered Church.
Yall are so adorable. Even in the first video I ever watched of yours, I could see Jesus through both of you and your beautiful children. Love yall so much and I can't wait for more.

One of the roots of Country Music is gospel music. The music is grounded in everyday life, and faith is part of life. Anyway, Home Free styles themselves as a country a capella vocal band, who just happens sing nearly every genre that can be adapted to a capella. A reactor once asked Chris Rupp (founder who left in 2016, and brother to Adam Rupp the beatboxer) about his faith, and he said that he lets his music express it to people for their interpretation. (Please correct me if I misheard Chris.) Subbed for more Home Free!

Pretty sure the guys are all Christian even if they still have stuff they need to overcome, if they truly believe Jesus will get them there. Home Free have been my favourite group since I discovered them in 2020.
I'd say that, much like NF, they are not Christian singers but singers that are Christian. Oh, and if you liked them after one song, you are Home Fries.
Do not judge others beliefs when you know little of their lives. You know not their charity works nor their commitments to spreading love and peace throughout this earth. Their uplifting music is heard by tens of millions world wide. During pandemic they tried to release uplifting and lighthearted music no matter personal expense. They were separated by covid and yet some of their best works were produced.. They have a loyal following due more to their charisma and no nonsense integrity.
Yeah Austin grew up singing southern gospel. If you go to Austin Browns channel. I love his version of Ray Charles “ Georgia “. He and Rob also sing Opera
Home Free the best A Capella group in the world is Austin Brown tenor 1 Rob Lundquist tenor 2 Adam Chance Baritone Tim Foust Bass w/ 5 octave range Adam Rupp Beatboxer
I like the juxtaposition in this song. Using gospel singing style to talk about finding sanctuary in your car, listening to music. “Highway FM” is a reference to a country music station, not to a Christian music station.
Go Rest High On That Mountain, but I prefer the Church Sessions version 🏴 When you get round to hearing their Christmas songs Beautiful Star of Bethlehem is a must to hear Austin go all gospel on one of the verses

I WAS GOING TO COMMENT, BUT I HAVE TO LEAVE, MY CAMEL IS DOUBLE PARKED.
What makes you think they aren't Christian? Because they sing stuff other than Christian music?
We dont know if they are Christians. We know that many of them grew up in/around a christian church but that doesn't mean you are a Christian.
Well, just an educated guess here...
I already mentioned in my comment that Adam Rupp was married in the church in Mankato. Home Free has played multiple concerts there, one being the Hosanna Concert. 😉 He also attended a 4 yr Lutheran (Christian) college.
