Thanks for the tutorial. I tried to set up domain name and email - but the system won't accept my PayPal nor my card payment.. Despite my information being entered correctly and having sufficient funds for both the setup and subscription, it still denies payment. Whenever I go to admin- it takes me back to the payment page and the cycle continues. I get prompts that I should pay to keep the name I tried to reserve. Customer service isn't helpful, unfortunately - as ths links they provide lead to the same place - or they're non responsive. If anyone has insight- please assist. Thanks!

You can, but it saves you $2/month if you just get Google One Drive. Google Business Standard gives you 2TB which cost $12/month. Google One drive gives you 2TB also but cost $10/month

Is it possible to have a google workspace for email account but then also have the domain name itself forward to another domain for website URL? We made a short domain for easy email and a longer one for website with keywords in it and want the email domain name to forward to the website URL if people try typing it in. I don’t see that option in google domains for the one we setup for workspace.
@@markambrose7453 I'm on it now and i can see it on mine. When you sign up for Google workspace, you are only modifying the mx record and not the A record. Another method to get around this it getting a Cloudflare account. It's free for 1 domain. You can then set the url forwarding from there.
Thank you. Client said the option disappeared when he signed up for workspace. I will do a screen share tonight and see what he’s looking at. We need his g workspace domain to forward to his longer website domain name. Thanks for the help! Much appreciated!

Try this: From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Domains. - In the Shopify-managed domains section, click the name of the domain you'd like to connect. - Click Use third-party hosting service. - Select Google Workspace, then enter the TXT code or meta tag. - Click Save.
I purchased my domain through google but I did go through the process of copying that info that you copied a pasted. Is there a way i can go back and get that link so that I might do that process.

It's $15 for every user that needs user@yourdomain.com. if your client needs an email that is client@yourdomain.com, then you need to get them a paid license under yourdomain.com. Either wise, if you are just emailing them on their client@gmail.com, then you don't need to pay for a license for them.
if i purchase a domain can i have multiple emails from that one domain? for example one is sales@mydomain.com and another one is info@mydomain.com and other ?? and if so, do i need to pay more money for it?

@@smann7236 I looked it up, try this: if you want to test your email address, then send a message from your account to check-auth@verifier.port25.com and you'll receive a summary of your email host's authentication methods. If SPF check: pass displays in the Summary of results, then your address meets Shopify's security settings

Yes, they can since an Alias is not an actual account. You will still need to log in as the main user.

Look for domain forwarding on Google Domains. It's under Domain overview, then look for "forward your domain to another website"
