When I found Jesus I had to lay it all at His feet. I decided that no matter what I wasn't taking a chance I was considering it all witchcraft. While in the Word the Lord showed me He created the Heavens and the signs that are there. He declared thing's in His Word and scripture tells of thing's to come. When you're in His Word worshipping Him and and He reveals thing's that is not witchcraft. That is being in the Word and being Obedient to seeing the signs in the Heavens he gives. He has His Children with gift's and uses them to benefit the Kingdom. When we go to Scripture to test them we are worshipping Him because we are in His Word. The Lord didn't show me any of that until I surrendered those false idols at His feet. If He would have showed me before I surrendered them I would most likely not be in the Word looking for anything but thinking everyone who deals with the sky and prophecy are okay. I think if people can't understand something because it is different, they think it is evil. Some people have a gift and use it for good. Others may or may not have a gift but use it for evil to take advantage of people. I don't even think all divination devices are evil, it is how you use them, and your intent. Example: Copper Divining Rods. You can find underground water or metal with them. Cemeteries can use them to find unmarked graves.

Unfortunately familiar spirits can give these powers as well to the vulnerable. Familiar spirits definitely guide divination tools which is why it’s wise to stay away from. I can’t speak to them finding water which I know they can do but they can also sense auras which is from spirits. The only way to guard against this is with discernment and being spirit filled. I’m saying all of this as someone who has those natural gifts. I spent over a decade in the light side occult and new age with only good intentions wanting to help people. I was a prodigal looking for God in the wrong places. Those gifts are not inherently evil or reflective of your intentions but rather how God is guiding them for his glory. I was a prodigal looking for God in the wrong places. Those gifts are not inherently evil or reflective of your intentions but rather how God is guiding them for his glory. I firmly believe people like Harriet Tubman or Joan of Arc were prophetess and they used it for His glory. God bless!
@@paisleylvr7 I'm old, which has given me time to know the scriptures and gain wisdom. I was born with spiritual gifts (which is why I left my comment). I'm a conservative Christian filled with the Holy Spirit. People have different kinds of gifts. Mine can't be taken over by evil or lead me down the wrong path because God has 100% control over it. I don't use tools or ask for anything, it just happens.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but David not just gave reverence to God, he also repented and asked for forgiveness every time he sinned? So, isn’t it true that Saul was to full of himself to ask for forgiveness other than fearing man? And that’s what made him depart from God? I just think that repenting for our wrong doings and asking forgiveness is also a form of submission and part of our redemption together with believing and having faith in Jesus, Holy spirit, and God the Father, and that is why He never parts from us… Keep up the good works, and keep the faith and prayers!

It does matter which version, or really perversion, that you're using. KJV is the absolute closest modern English translation. That perversion you are using was rewritten by a homosexual. You're not to take away from nor add to the Word of the One True Living God.
