Jesus why... I'm in my first 2hours of this game today, for the first time, and I already heard this theme like 20x, and all of those times i got goosebumps... omg

This song perfectly reflects Terra’s feelings and her struggles. Nobuo Uematsu is truly a legend

I desperately hope that 6 gets a remake after 7 is over...those dead/dying Espers...Celes and Cid breaking psychologically...Shadow's backstory...the world cracking...it would be colorful yet exceptionally dark...

I played this game during COVID and I have to say it's such a fitting game for our time. We are not going back, our world is broken. We are living in the World of Ruin. But we still must have that flicker of hope that our FF6 heroes had!

Main Theme of FF7 can bite it. THIS is the best Final Fantasy overworld theme.

27 years later and I still find myself humming this tune from time to time.

RIP to all the normies that thought FF was too nerdy to get into

This song is legendary, it cannot be described how incredible it is. 32 years later, it still makes my skin crawl.

This single piece reaffirms my opinion that music is the most important aspect of games

This game... the beating soul of Final Fantasy. The indelible core. All layers removed, and the heart of the genre, having reached its full potential was exposed. Games grew up, right here. Paving the way for all that would come after. The steady climb reached it's crescendo, plateauing and setting the stage for part seven to break through into mainstream consciousness. Gaming would never be the same again. Thank you Kitase-San! Thank you Uematsu-San!

I know some people may love 7 more, but FF6 will forevermore imho be the best FF game out there. I love the story, chars, main villain (kefka fucking rocks), music is superb and the use of mode 7 looks amazing. I maybe bias, but I remember when I rented this game the day it came out, forgot about everything during summer vacation, returned it after 3 days and bought the game with money earned from working at Hardees. I sunk so much of my summer vacation days that year into this game and don't regret it. Still to this day I can be swept away to a better place in time and remember those days of experiencing this gem for the first time. True blew me away!

How you know something you've created is timelessly good:

I love how her theme song sounds like a victorious battle march.

I can remember playing this for the first time, Christmas 1994, I can CLEARLY remember this theme, the mechs marching to Narche and knowing I was in for an epic experience. I was not wrong. I've bought this game on nearly every platform its been released on because it is a complex, timeless tale, with music that stands on its own. I can remember when Kefka won, and the world falls into darkness, thinking I was somehow personally responsible, feeling terrible. (Thinking maybe it was a branching story and I messed up).

This song is pretty much the reason I got into the FF series

The Magitek suits (yes, I spelled it that way because that's the original translation) walking through the snow was foreshadowing that you KNEW you were in for the ride of your life.

My first crush. I made sure Terra was an absolute monster at all times. ❤

This song, before I realized it was Terra’s theme, was how I fell in LOVE WITH FINAL FANTASY! FF6 was the first one I ever played and any who have played it, know this is the first song to play upon starting a new game. I still am conflicted over if FF6 is my favorite or FF7. Both have technology and magic and 2 of the best villains in the series. Either way FF6 paved the way for my journey into rpgs.
