I am 33 years old and FFVII was the first game I played on the PS1. This game is my childhood, it defined who I was as a gamer and still does to this day. The characters, the story, the lore, I love it all. The remake means so much to me, far more than most would or could understand probably. I think FFVII inspired me to join the military eventually, because I admired aspects of both Cloud AND Sephiroth. I always respected the groups sacrifice for the Planet and what they believed in. To this day, making sacrificing for what is right, is still a value dear to me. I legit tear up with the remake so close. Decades of waiting and we finally get it. The Aeris theme song is very symbolic even during the game. You have to stay tough at the saddest moments of your life and you have to keep on fighting. Just as how this theme is played during the JENOVA LIFE boss fight in-game.

Wow man. That is awesome. What a beautiful song to walk down the aisle to. There’s a girl I’ve been seeing recently and I’ve been day dreaming that she would walk down the aisle to this. Blessings to you an d your wife.
At the beginning of the game Aerith's theme, through melancholic, is comforting and warm. Like a soft blanket wrapped around as you watch the rain beat down outsode your window. However when you hit the end of disc 1 and her death comes and gos... the whole vibe completely changes. Suddenly the melancholy vibe is so much more prominent in your mind and the comforting aspect is relegated to a more reflective place, a memory of comfort which was torn away. One of the greatest pieces of video game music from the greatest video game death ever.
Interesting notion. One of the leads to FF7 was grieving the loss of his mother and that pain became a driving point to FF7's story, the concept of life and death.
This song still gets to me even after 20 years. Will always have a special place in our hearts for those of us who are growns ups now but played the original when it came out.
Beautiful theme 💖 Takes me back to when I first played in 97, barely 13 and FF7 just changed my outlook on video games. No longer were they just fun or challenging but capable of telling a story, making me think and breaking my heart 💔. Now I’m 36, today and still cry whenever I hear this tune. 1997 was a long time ago, but this game has never strayed far from my mind. And now, I get to play it all again when the Remake is released. I can't wait. Oh - great remix, by the way.

It's ok to lingering around. But you got to move one. Because there's always someone to be by your side. Everything's gonna be OK.
Hello Enrico. This has been one of my go-to drunk songs for quite a some time now. Thnak you for all the nice hours. Youres is one odf the very very best of aeris themes. Thank you
A long time ago, back when I was young and didn't know anything about drugs or why things happened the way they did, I went and visited my Dad over the summer. I stayed with him all summer, and around the age of seven or eight, introduced me to Final Fantasy 4 and 7. I would play Final Fantasy 4 on his phone and, since it was the 3D version, I struggled HARD. And while I struggled hard, considering they were the first games I've ever played, they gave me a hard time. But I never stopped playing Final Fantasy, and eventually got around to playing Final Fantasy 7 for myself. And when I got to this part of the game around the age of 11 or 12... that was the first time I felt something real between a fictional character. How was I supposed to care about something that wasn't real? Somehow, it felt that way. If there's one thing I want to thank my father for, it's introducing me to a series of games that feel more than simply video games. A story of a handful of people, with different personalities, and crushing defeats alongside heroic victories. I love this series, but even more than that... I love the music.
Thank you for making this. I'm almost 40 and I still cry when I hear this song! I still cry at Aeris's death scene. I remember balling and trying to fight Jenova! And then when Cloud buries her in the water, I lost it completely. I originally played this game at age 16. It was and still is the best RPG game I've ever played. Actually, it is the BEST GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED! Thank you Squaresoft/Square Enix!
I don't think so. As a game it was incredibly flawed. There is almost no character development for any character other than Cloud, and the story is all over the place. It was fun, but looking back it wasn't really all that amazing
@@HyruleWanderer I don't think that's entirely true. The game devs used some ass-backwards programming methods when making the game, which I think FF Union covered. I must be getting old since I can look at FF7 critically (like Egoraptor with Ocarina of time) despite me growing up with the game... kinda
When I started FFVII, I wasn't sure if I could really get attached to the characters with how simplistic the game was being so aged... I have never been so wildly wrong. By the time I got to the infamous scene that I knew was coming, I was dreading every step further into that city
I got kicked out when I was 15. I was so depressed beyond words. This game really was all I had. Later when I moved out of my new home, I really sat and enjoyed this game. Often restarting so I wouldn't see the ending. Some of the best nights of my life playing this game. Sounds amazing!!
Ya missed out on Phantasy Star 4 then my friend. I remember when I would watch my bubby play this game id think, this is like PS4 but way freakin better.
Enrico, this is the most beautiful version of Aerith's Theme. This version makes me cry like a baby even more so than the OST version or the arranged version already do.
This sounds even better than the original. Hearing this throws me back to those days when I used to play FFVII. Life was simple and videogames were full of original ideas... Long life to 90s decade videogames ;)
My god! They should have used this one for the remake! This is a masterpiece! Congrats! I Didn't listen to all of your remakes yet, they are all great, but this one... I have chills!
It's amazing to me that while it's technically a great track, it isn't what people remember. So many of us have stories of endurance and sacrifice and have found home in songs like this. It always puzzled my parents why I was so emotionally attached at different times to the games I played. This wasn't my first but it is a story I remember during hard times as we all experience. My advice is to lead others through the tough spots you've been in, even decades later. Nobuo inspired millions, I wonder what his story was?
Not gonna lie, beating Jenova Life with Cloud's ultimate limit break with this in the background as he lands the final blow. I knew it was coming, but it still got me. I... I'm not crying! Just... sweating through my eyes!
Listening to this song left me tears on my eyes, this was my first Final Fantasy and of course one of the first game on where I lost forever a beloved character. Hearing this remake makes me feel overwhelmed.
i remember i search high and low for a way to revive her thinking the game must have hidden a way to do. i think ff7 is such a memorable rpg because the story is so strong bout life and how we takes things as granted in life and scavenged the earth like what we are doing now.

Oh man i did not expect to get choked up but it is genuinely beautiful! Definitely the best music mod for ff7. I hope youre getting recognition for it, and thanks for making this game new again. Really excited to hear the rest of the themes as I continue.
Thank you so much for writing to me. I'm glad you discovered the mod and enjoyed it. At the moment I'm back to collaborate with them and we're discussing a possible return to finish the music and complete the Music Mod. I'll write more news about it
@EnricoDeianamusic good to know! I just assumed it was finished but I am definitely looking forward to hearing more from you. Not sure if you do other music mods but I will be keeping an eye out for them.
Hello Enrico. Hearing about the news from your channel, i just dropped by to say that no matter what happens i want you to know that you have provided me and prob many others with unforgettable experiences to our favourite childhood memories related to final fantasy. Keep in mind that this music youve remastered is valuable to me and prob many others
They did a great job be making this for the Final Fantasy 7 remake absolutely beautiful job amazing and beautiful instrumental sad and Serene same time
This remake has such power and emotion to it. I know Uematsu is a musical god but damn if this was the track they used in the remake I wouldn't even be slightly upset.
I remember falling in love with Aerith's theme since I was a kid, and for some reason it made me cry very often, even though I had no idea where it was from, all I knew is that it was called "Aeris's Theme" back then, and then I got an Aerith plugin for my Winamp and left it there because the character was so beautiful... and oddly enough only months later I found out it was from FFVII. However... long story short, whenever I tried to play that game, there was always some external reason that didn't let me past this game's first disc's FIRST HALF in the original no matter what... and the whole story including Aerith's death scene ended up spoiled to me over time in the end. To this day I haven't finished the original, but I've read tons of posts over the years and watched bits of playthroughs, watched Advent Children and whatnot... so I know most of what happens I guess? Now I wonder if I should even play the first one at all, or just wait until I can play the remake, any suggestion guys?
imo, if it means so much to you. I suggest u better finish original first. Some pieces in remake can be more meaningful if you understand what it refer to. BUT I won’t suggest u to play any extensions such like crisis core or dirge of cerberus (cause they have something that considered not canon to original story and might confuse you) Unless you are an in-depth fan who wish to read all about each scene that Japanese developers explained in their interviews. To make this shortly, FF7 divided into 3 parts. 1. inside Midgar part 2. from leaving Midgar till Aerith’s death 3. after that till the end Ironically, even game have 3 discs but after 1st disc(or 2nd part) there’s not much interesting story except Cloud’s secret (to be honest, I think game likely had data for 2.1discs which is why 3rd disc feel so short) Anyway since remake only released 1st part of story so far. Until few more years for 2nd part come to ps5, you have a lot of time to play and understand the original. It’s totally safe to play especially when almost everyone who knows ff7 has been spoiled/seen “that scene”.
Why I'm crying just listening to this? I really love this game, yet I never fully completed it. Never. I never seen Aerith death. I just watched sometimes how my mom played this game when I was kid. I need to complete this masterpiece
There is dust in my eye! I swear it! Brings back the memory of hearing this song the first time. And crying like a bitch at that part...... Back in 1999......
NOOOO! This autoplayed after the main theme and I had to stop what I was doing immediately and listen, remember, and tear up. It's beautiful that Aerith is kind-of getting new life with this new Remake... but it's going to be EVEN HARDER seeing her go again. Goodness. Why do you play with my heart this way, Square?
The heroine of FF7. The one that saved the entire planet, all of us back then. Her death wasn’t just the biggest blow to Cloud’s heart but to us as well. I think it’s time to return the favor in Remake, isn’t it? We owe it to her. We have to save her this time.
@@TheKingOfN0thing just hug it out, bro. For real, though, I've watched the latest teaser a few dozen times, and that little interlude where she hands Cloud the flower chokes me up in the worst way. It's just so pure.
Mark Mellon the detail they’re putting in that game, though. When he says “I’m fine”, if you look at her facial expression, just for a split second, you see her go from moderately concerned back to cheery and gentle. Oh God, they’re gonna rip our hearts out. Imagine something this beautiful playing while fighting Jenova LIFE and how they’ll be able to design the atmosphere during the fight.... 😭

FF7 was/is way more than a game. It's an absolute piece of art.
I don't think so. As a game it was incredibly flawed. There is almost no character development for any character other than Cloud, and the story is all over the place.
It was fun, but looking back it wasn't really all that amazing
@@oluftheexplorer9476 Due to the console limitations, of course. I hope the remake fix those flaws.
@@HyruleWanderer I don't think that's entirely true. The game devs used some ass-backwards programming methods when making the game, which I think FF Union covered.
I must be getting old since I can look at FF7 critically (like Egoraptor with Ocarina of time) despite me growing up with the game... kinda
@@oluftheexplorer9476 The music is the piece of art and it elevates the game over it's potential.
@@oluftheexplorer9476 Barret had some character development and shit.
These new generation gonna feel what we feel back then.
Still right in my kokoro.
Time is running out
The Release is coming
When the wait is over
The Story will begin... again
Will our hearts be ready to see her fate in this remake?
Idk y that reminded me of scott pilgrim except it’ll be ff7 this time
@goblin knight That would be badass!
Let the Obsession begin. Again. - Back of Doom 2 game box ;)
@Shane3033 she is even cuter :)
The first game to ever make me cry
I’m sorry that sucks
@Daniel Zuk FF7 did come out before 10 you know. All that means is that the person didn't play 10 before 7 which isn't that shocking.
@@Flaris lol so true
Ya missed out on Phantasy Star 4 then my friend. I remember when I would watch my bubby play this game id think, this is like PS4 but way freakin better.
THOSE DAMN ONIONS!!!
...absolute classic.
The most beautiful and saddest theme song ever in 7. I wish my favorite character didn't die. :( Great remake, Enrico, as always! Thank you!! ^^
When you play FFVII and you know that you slowly walking into Aerith's death. :(
That was.....so fucking beautiful....... You are one of, if not THE greatest video game OST remakers I have ever had the pleasure of coming across.
Simply beautiful :) One of the most heart warming versions of this song I've heard so far. Great job!
Enrico, this is the most beautiful version of Aerith's Theme. This version makes me cry like a baby even more so than the OST version or the arranged version already do.
God dammit E.D. once again you toy with my heart having me remember this moment.
I miss my mom, guys.
The music it touches my heart...
can't stop the tears...
oh my god it literally makes me cry!!!!❤️😢 jesus this is so perfect! excellent job!😍 this took me back almost 20 years back
Still the most tragic and heart-breaking video game music theme ever! ;(
Thanks for making such a good tribute to the original!
Easily the most beautiful piece of music ever to feature in a video game in my opinion, hands down.
dude, your channel is underrated.. Beautiful remakes!
This sounds even better than the original. Hearing this throws me back to those days when I used to play FFVII. Life was simple and videogames were full of original ideas... Long life to 90s decade videogames ;)
I came here because of the remake trailer *sniff*
Same . Earith u r so kawaii
She was something else. Some might say out of this world.
Starts in D major.
Well done, this arrangement is very emotional and much depth. Aerith would be very proud of this.
love the transition halfway through the piece!
I feel the scene when Aerith dead, it will be more sad than original FF 7, this aerith version so fucking amazing and beautiful. Damnn you SE
Oh my god this is beautifully done man.
Tears in my eyes. This music theme is one of a few that can make me cry
Why do i always keep these onions at my desk....
Don't dump it, it can be An Onion Knight if you grow it lol
@@noyoucantnoicantnowecantsostop LMAO
My god! They should have used this one for the remake! This is a masterpiece! Congrats! I Didn't listen to all of your remakes yet, they are all great, but this one... I have chills!
Yeah that would be amazing. I absolutely lose this remix. It’s sad but yet so beautiful.
I remember thinking when I was 12 and sephy just yeeted aerith, “why can’t I just Phoenix down her?”
Well, they tried: ua-cam.com/video/I7ujjQA4vGw/v-deo.html
My funeral song.......A perfect remake choice good sir
It's amazing to me that while it's technically a great track, it isn't what people remember. So many of us have stories of endurance and sacrifice and have found home in songs like this. It always puzzled my parents why I was so emotionally attached at different times to the games I played. This wasn't my first but it is a story I remember during hard times as we all experience. My advice is to lead others through the tough spots you've been in, even decades later. Nobuo inspired millions, I wonder what his story was?
Questa è, a mani basse, la miglior versione di Aerith's Theme che io abbia mai sentito. Complimenti Enrico, non riesco a staccarmi dal tuo canale
Not gonna lie, beating Jenova Life with Cloud's ultimate limit break with this in the background as he lands the final blow. I knew it was coming, but it still got me. I... I'm not crying! Just... sweating through my eyes!
A beautiful remake of one of the most iconic FFVII themes. Well done, I look forward to that emotinal tear when that time comes again
Listening to this song left me tears on my eyes, this was my first Final Fantasy and of course one of the first game on where I lost forever a beloved character. Hearing this remake makes me feel overwhelmed.
So beautifully made 😭😭😭 Your works amaze me!
I'm not crying. I'm just shedding liquid sadness and joy for this piece.
i remember i search high and low for a way to revive her thinking the game must have hidden a way to do. i think ff7 is such a memorable rpg because the story is so strong bout life and how we takes things as granted in life and scavenged the earth like what we are doing now.
I'm not crying, you're crying.
Don't cry Loz.
@@kirara2516 I'm NOT crying... yes, yes I am.
I'm not. My eyes sweat.
The damn onion ninjas are here
We’re crying.
hey man i randomly found your music mod for ff7 on 7th heaven. Had to search your name after i heard Aeriths theme during the game.
Feeling it. One of THE best Final Fantasy music tracks in all the series.
1. inside Midgar part
2. from leaving Midgar till Aerith’s death
3. after that till the end
Ironically, even game have 3 discs but after 1st disc(or 2nd part) there’s not much interesting story except Cloud’s secret (to be honest, I think game likely had data for 2.1discs which is why 3rd disc feel so short)
Anyway since remake only released 1st part of story so far. Until few more years for 2nd part come to ps5, you have a lot of time to play and understand the original. It’s totally safe to play especially when almost everyone who knows ff7 has been spoiled/seen “that scene”.
Oh my...
this is by far the best Song i ever heard..
So many Emotions.. just wow
44kryth Get ready to see her stabbed in 4k 60fps next gen technology soon.
Oh god how the truth hurts...
im replaying vii right now and im in the city of the ancients, im preparing for the feels :/
Surely there's gonna be blood! It's gonna look horrific! I think the block graphics saved us!
Yeah I know. Replaying it myself. Not very far. In the Train Graveyard. Not spending much time with it.....
I’d say this is one of the most beautiful versions of this song I’ve heard.
It's also the saddest sounding version too. Just hearing it makes me cry uncontrollably.
The heroine of FF7. The one that saved the entire planet, all of us back then. Her death wasn’t just the biggest blow to Cloud’s heart but to us as well.
I think it’s time to return the favor in Remake, isn’t it? We owe it to her. We have to save her this time.
A beautifully redone , thank you so much for sharing. I love it.
Why am i crying. When a first nodes of melody is played, i feel so lost... Amazing game, amazing composer~!
And i were wondering "when will Enrico upload something awesome again" not too long ago. I guess some wishes actually come true 😎
superdante001 unlike Aerith being able to be saved...
*rolls eyes*.
I cant stop crying... So much feels... Such a great job!
The original will always hold a special place in my heart but this is also majestic
The Reunion at hand may bring joy, it may bring fear...
...but let us embrace whatever it brings.
"Are you okay?"
NOOOOO! T__T
Mark Mellon Gonna need to form a support group. 😭
😭
@@TheKingOfN0thing I take it you've already heard Enrico's Jenova remakes. If not, definitely check them out. Shivers.
My grandmother died on November 10, 2021. The funeral was so soon after she died I was unable to attend. I dedicate this song to her.
