Patch List - docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/27b259_...
Sorry about the Flashing lights - So, I had an A1 not long after they came out, but due to lack of room in my old Room, it was always in the way, so ended up leaning up against the Wall, so I sold it.
Recently got hold of one again and have made 100 Patches and 50 Performance Presets as well. All have been made from the front panel from scratch and not using the Mutator/Randomizer.
Pads, Strings, Leads etc. Performances are layers and splits from the Patches, but also new 3 or 4 Oscillator Sounds.
Here are the first 33 Presets I have made in Patch Mode. - Навчання та стиль
This synth is so good. So analog sounding... So warm. Hard to make it sound bad. Thanks for doing this demo, great job.
I think you need an award for “made Bladerunner patch on the greatest number of synthesizer models”, lol.
Nice work.
ZombieTactics haha...yeah, it’s the first patch I always make when I get a new Synth...it tells me a lot. Though some people get so pissed at me for doing it, it’s like I’ve gone around their house and killed their Dog! Still going to do it though :)
Yep ... I know you said so somewhere (GS maybe?). I have several patches I do as tests myself. It really is the best way to learn the character of a new instrument.
The bladerunner main titles patch sounds great...i've actually just bought this synth...receiving it next week...for a side by side comparison with the An1x by yamaha (which also is a great sounding synth) on this sound : ua-cam.com/video/EK1m7UIhZZY/v-deo.html
wow this version is clean and much better than the other ones i've heard online
Yeah, even andertons has pops and clicks on their demo :/ Highly appreciate this clean, pristine demo here.
Very good synth
Somehow I felt the Nord as a digital Prophet regarding the sounds one can get out of it, with less low end but very distinctive sound. It feels warm and yet cold somehow, warmer than older Nord Leads IMO. I own a Nord Stage 3 which has this engine and it is a good sounding synth, I like it a lot. Nice patches!
It's a very cool Synth and yes, not a lot of low end, but sits very well in mixes. I much prefer it to the Nord Lead 4.
@@GEOSynths this is interesting to know. Why do you prefer the NL4? Sound design possibilities or the sound itself? (or both?) Thanks!
I had no idea how huge this thing could sound! Most demos make it sound either thin or muddled. Now I can decide if I should get an analog poly or this!
Wait until you hear the rest, especially the Performance Bank...:)
GEOSynths Definitely will hold onto my $$$!
I am wondering.. can the Nord Lead 2 these sounds?
Everything u do is great by the way ;)
How do you feel this stacks against the JDXA by Roland. So hard to find really good demos. (Gattabus the only solid one but curius about different tones)
Zac Barnes totally different architectures.
I still have that school of thought. If I got a Prologue I'd still have 16 voices like the A6 but with warranty and backup. And it would be cheaper. Am also tempted by Deckards Dream!
I see you have a Model D, any good?
Chris Davey yeah, the Prologue is a very good sounding Synth. I made the patches on the 8 voice, but I’ve since bought the 16 voice and sold the 8...lost a few hundred, but hey. The Model D is great, so much low end, I also get my Neutron today hopefully. :)
3:56 IN LOVE
Made you make this patches available for Electro 6?. Thanks so much
Unfortunately they don't work on the Electro.
hi could you put a description of the patches so that people who are looking for certain kind/theme of patches can tell what the bank is about?
Hi, when they are released, I always include a Patch List with names and descriptions.
thank you
Are these stock program patches? These sound great. My A1 doesn't have these program sounds
No, I made them. There's 100 Programs and 50 Performances in the Set, you can purchase here - www.geosynths.com/nordlead-a1
I want create EBM or industrial music. Which Nord lead will be the best form me?
Nord A1, Moog Subsequent or GrandMother, DSI REV2 or Mopho X4.
Did you get your Neutron?
I did thanks, had a good play with it on Saturday...Great little machine.
I like the sound of it but already have an Analogue Solutions Nyborg 24 so not sure I'd get another Analogue mono.
Out of all your synths which does the best rendition of the Blade Runner theme?
The OB6 - 9 Mins 50...ua-cam.com/video/zNFEOgLWdoQ/v-deo.html
This one is pretty good, though - and on an all-digital synth … 😎👍🏼 Nice work, Jamie.
I guess the Hydrasynth could maybe get a bit closer, now … ?! 🤷🏻♂️
I feel like the Minilogues(and Prologue?) have that brighter/treble bite thing that the OB6 brings to its Blade Runner patch, too …
What do you think, Jamie? 🤔🤷🏻♂️
No, I was wrong - Korgs are kinda thin/weedy (even the big Prologue! 😢) and or a bit too dull (patch I listened to may have been using the 24db filter on the OG minilogue, tho’) …
I think the best are, as Jamie said, the ❤️ OB6 ❤️ (#1) … then, the Summit 😎👍🏼 and this Nord Patch 😎👍🏼 (difficult to order #2 & #3, I think … ?! 🤷🏻♂️)
OB-XA might therefore take the cake, overall, in terms of modern synths?! … I remember being underwhelmed by the Deckard’s Dream’s sound … 🤔
So how does this stack up in your top 4?
Haha...Not telling you :)
It keeps changing...lol Must admit, I do really like the Performance Mode on it as you can treat each Slot as an Oscillator, each with its own Panning, Filter Type FX etc...Very powerful.
Funny I had a Lead 4 and didn't like the tone. Sounded too digital to my ears.
I also had an AN1X which I regret selling.
I had one as well, it does sound rougher than the A1 and why they didn't put Chorus on it is weird...But yeah, I had it a few weeks and sold it.
Sounds like this synth is the closet to a CS 80 out there. Is that accurate?
OB-X8 or OB-6, maybe …
Or possibly Deckard’s Dream … but I get the impression it’s a bit overrated … though, it’s structure is modeled very much so on the CS-80 …
