Always thinking about getting another Sportster to wrench on to make into a custom off road scrambler or adventure bike... this definitely was an awesome step-by-step tear down video to give me more inspiration and motivation ... just wish I had a garage, a lift & more tools.
Thanks for the videos, Todd is the man WOO!! Love the hard tails and all of the crazy builds people do but it’s refreshing to see a scrambler (something different).

Badass ... I don't know why this was put into my feed, but I'm glad it was. I had a Sportster Custom in the days of waiting lists and 5k-over-list stealerships, '99 or '00? Had the Sportster for 2 years and went to a FX. But 8 bikes later, and in my 60s, ya know which bike I want back out of all of them?
Instead of using an adjustable wrench on the screw driver shaft you can use a box end wrench on the handle that’s why the handles are shaped the way they are, love the content keep up the good work brother
This is such weird timing. Subscribed very recently and I picked up a daily double, two for the price of one set of sportsters day before Christmas Eve. One 1998 883 and one 2001 1200, both bikes for $2,100. The plan is to build the 883 into a street tracker … and I already have parts in route and have videos planned for each piece and day of the build! Should be fun to watch this one come together as mine comes to life as well. If the timing wasn’t weird enough for me of this video… the 1200 had old haggard saddle bags with a 10mm wrench, a Phillips head screw driver, Ibuprofen and a set of glasses.
