Just got the Anser. It was over this and a Scotty Newport 2.0. I gamed the Special Select Newport before it what a difference. I absolutely love it. I always change the grips on my Scotty's but nothing beats this ping grip.
@@jonathanozner Yes, I did. I liked it too but the look,size, and weight of the Anser felt so natural for me. The look is very pleasing to my eye when putting and I like a clean look. I felt the 2D was "to busy" looking for me. I am big Scotty fan boy and the fact I switched to it says A LOT. I considered going back and getting another Scotty but the more I game it the more I love it. They're all great putters. I was not a fan of the sound at the store for some reason and almost didn't get it because of that too, now I love it.
@@jonathanozner I don’t thing you can go wrong with either. I just made a putter competition with the last 2 putters I was debating on and went with the one that had the best feel.

Nice video. Please keep them coming. I think the anser 2d looks awesome. I have been using a sigma 2 tyne stealth for 3-4 years now. I am the best lag putter in my neighborhood. I am Considering giving the anser 2d or the odyssey tri hot 5k double wide a roll this season. I miss the precision a blade offers but I benefit from forgiveness too. Do you think 4 years of innovation will be noticeable on my scorecard? I just want to be able to drop one or two more putts a round. Of the three putters would you say one excels in certain categories? Thanks.
Good Question. Its a hard question to answer with putters especially when considering one that already performs. Both putters you mention looking at offer the traditional blade set up with more MOI and more alignment support verse a conventional blade so that is a change in shape. Tech wise the tungsten weighting in both may give you those fractional improvements you seek and the difference in feel off the face may also offer you that improvement level of feel, roll performance. One or two putts a round would be nice to shave indeed. Id hope any putter that you like and get fitted for length wise and stroke wise would benefit performance on course. Next thing I would check to improve putting is assessing the stopping power of your wedges if they are a few seasons old. Stopping the ball closer to the whole could be a game changer too.

Did you roll the 2D before choosing the anser? If so, how’d the face insert feel on the 2D?
