Looks like Upper Deck learned from the short falls of X-Men metal (quality, character selection, art, etc) and improved them for Spidey Metal. Excited to open my box.

Justin I always enjoy your love of the hobby and the commentary of the 3 Amigos. You make the hobby educational and fun again. However it was easy to hate you after breaking of Spider-Man Metal in this video. Keep up the great content.

What do ya think about box stashing? I keep wondering what investment could be had from buying a few boxes of these types of runs and just leaving em sealed for some time to see what happens. You’d think at the very least, once the boxes are scarce, a sealed box would have SOME value to collectors? Do you ever put some aside for that reason?
That is actually the only way I can truly advise someone to invest into marvel cards safely to some degree. Of course, price point of entry into the box and timing of exit or the box is key like all investments but it’s the most sure thing I’ve experienced. As fast as me personally… I’ve opened every box I’ve ever purchased because I enjoy the experience more than the opportunity to make money

I commented on another of your recent videos about how I had 2013 marvel fleer retro. Two cases and a loose hobby box to be exact and …. Yeahhhhhh. I don’t have to say how insane it would’ve been to have left that be, sealed in a closet. So it had me considering what other similar potential there was in this concept. But I do agree, nothing beats the rush of opening these things. Taps into such a foundational joy and excitement. I was considering maybe doing something like… buying boxes or cases of runs that could be sought after and doing a 50/50 of opening and leaving sealed. Best of both worlds. I haven’t really decided. I have some fairly decent investment into that retro set in individual hits, so I could use the sales of those perhaps to reinvest sorta thing. Hm! Thanks again!

I opened mine today and I pulled a Green PMG Superior Spider-Man, a Doppelganger Sketch card, a Turquoise High Series Daredevil, and a high series Orange FX Tinker.

Awesome break! You should consider not having figures in the background of your vids, your camera is constantly trying to refocus and often times the camera is focusing on the figures making the card images blurry :(

In sports cards as you know there is a thing called "Hot Boxes".. I don't think there are boxes out there with no hits, that's a manufactured banger of a box, a "Hot Box"! You nailed it dude congrats! I've opened a box of Topps Chrome before with every card, in every 6 card pack, being a black refractor parallel, plus it had 3 auto's instead of the 2 they promise, that were all #'d.. dude don't loose sleep tonight, celebrate!

We really do need to know if they screwed up on the collating because some of us paid a hefty price for just 2 hobby box...........and that would really sour a new comer to further buying premium trading cards. 🤔
More crappy cards then good ones, cards from the 90s are nicer, I mean a pink SPENCER SMITHE, who is that? Spider man's science teacher? He ain't no hero, the half brother of that Jonah Jameson guy, good thing he found that hand drawn spider man or else it wouldn't be worth it, what you do is you save sealed those other boxes you have and wait til the other ones are all sold so the product goes up in price, paying $5,400 for a box of cards that was only a few hundred when released, a fool and his money will soon be parted, outsmarted

@@brianl7535 yeah and I think from what I have seen most people said like why are the cards so fucking thick we want thin, we're different, we're right, the thick cards are better quality, the spider-man metal in comparison with x-men metal though the first are better (they improved from the first product, how it should be) I'm never going to buy a sealed box though, I have a few hundred mostly marvel cards ha just one dc from 1990 to 2020 all in soft sleeves thick and thin and tucked into a tight storage box i played with today, im buying 30 more singles from comc for an indredible deal of $100 canadian and im finished, I only buy singles from ebay and comc, doing it this way pretty much means that every card I get I truly enjoy (those two players are really only my actual choices, there's like nowhere to buy marvel cards in Canada, so are they only marketable in the online world?) Listen sometimes I get sent a card with a nicked corner or a bend and I give it away because i only want mint cards in my collection but so be it, it's good that there's players that buy cards by the box or I wouldn't have any but I just can't do it, last thing I want is a dagger, silk or Spencer smithe and there's more to name and I'd just throw them away, and I don't want have any duplicates either

The Marvel products pricing has gotten out of control. What ever happened to the low end stuff for the average and beginner collectors. Really wish they had a retail product again.
They do … check target and Walmart for the retail release of this product for $30. Be careful though it does not include some of the more expensive and rare cards that are included in this box. Basically it’s worth the $30 that they are charging for the blasters
@@SpideyHits I have not seen any near me. I remember there used to be 2 and 3 sets a year that would be in target and stuff years back but lately there has been nothing for the last 3 or more years.

That’s not easy cause not many selling platforms outside of eBay. You can ask community members who have experience with that type of insert. Feel free to message me as well on instagram
