After the Battle of Bataan, 75,000 United States Marines and the Filipino soldiers they had trained were forced to march from tip of the Bataan peninsula to Camp O'Donnell. The march was over 65 miles and thousands died from either physical abuse, dehydration, heat stroke, starvation, or sickness, and Jake marched farther than that no problem.
