The commentary on these videos is always genius. "After killing twelve guys at a time, single kills feel like a lap dance. Pretty weak." ☠☠☠ "Troops are like water in a siege. If you let them start to gain inertia, they will sweep you away" I've been reading your tactical advice and occasional jokes for the last couple of days and I really really enjoy it. Heya friends! This older video is quite popular but I have long since updated both the quality of our videos on the channel, and also added voice over commentary. If you enjoyed this video but want to listen, NOT read, please subscribe or at least check out some of our newer videos, ALL in UHD graphics and voice over commentary. Enjoy!
Admittedly I am not a siege-god. I focus mainly on getting troops into the defensive gaps and assisting my troops at need. Yes, though better to throw those explosive mortars when the enemy is close then shoot them. :D
@@HeadlessHorsemanProductions it was a good video dude I really did learn a lot. I never level throwing so I didn’t know you could absolutely launch those like that
Thank you! I am here to help! Check out the siege assault I posted recent if you want to see javelins in truly awesome use. They are incredible in offensive siege too. @@Seymourjohnson69
Thanks! That's actually one of my very first videos I posted, and it doesn't have voice over and pretty rough overall feel to it. Glad you still enjoyed it! My campaign is a death match against all eight kingdoms now and most are larger than my own small rebel kingdom. Huge sieges and battles are fairly common now and after fighting a thousand battles, I've saved the best for the channel. If you love siege, here's actually my favorite 'recent' siege defense, with my band of '300' spartans: ua-cam.com/video/THpTm5YXDq4/v-deo.html
I fucking live for sieges like this Idk what it is but a siege defense on this scale is what keep the excitement boiling in thr late game grind Great insight and tactics too, holding the walls with breachs and a ram is very impressive against 4k troops
@@HeadlessHorsemanProductions Hi,yes they didnt have any siege towers, they had a gaping hole in the wall and still breached gate :D this ai, instead of scaling the walls ,leaving em up there would have harvested 100s kills and save some lives and when they run out of arrows there 2 hander comes in handy that would have been the perfect q to send em down, but a great siege defense anyways ! [reminds me when i beat 2350 valandians with just 200 troops :) ]
Amytays has really bad wall design, its just a straight line wall ----|---|---- with achers cant cover each other blind spot. I think you already got "improvisher" perk in your tactic, for your casualty in breaking in was light👍
I agree completely, but in this siege, with the walls crumbled to pieces, there wasn't much point in having archers on the walls - other than being shot off them by the enemy...
@@HeadlessHorsemanProductions you should be bro... tactic perks is great for reducing sacrifice when breaking in siege 150 point in tactic choose" improviser" 20% less troop to sacrifice during break in to help defender, another "swift regroup" reduce sacrificed troops when got away..

Welcome aboard! I'm introducing my first voice over video in a week or so, and I'll try and bring that zest into the audio portion as well. Thank you!
@@HeadlessHorsemanProductions good luck man, I appreciate you!

All I learned is upgrade throwing and turn yourself into the mangonel

@@HeadlessHorsemanProductionsthe only problem is you can't get more jacelins once you run out, right?
@@bastianbezon2687 Sorta, you can find them on the ground from errant throws, but also you can get them, sometimes quivers of 5, from dead enemies!
Jesus Christ. What demon did you sell your soul to to get such an epic siege. It looks like it's out of a movie.

what a battle I loved it like I was a soldier by your side
LOTS more siege defenses on the channel brother, and most or all with narration too(voice over!)
nice!
Fuck yeah!!!
Subscribe for more, the battles I am having to fight keep getting more and more bloody and difficult.
How do you recruit so many companion into your army?
Most of them are family members some are even grandchildren of the original character the campaign started with...
cant reload trowing on the wall?
If you mean my siege weapons, no once the battle starts, they are either there or they are not...
@@HeadlessHorsemanProductionsI think he meant throwing weapons like with bow and bucket of arrow
Leaving youre fians on the walls would have been a good idea and saved alot of melee trouble :D
I was worried they wouldn't have enough cover from the enemy archers because the walls were so broken up...

And what skill line is that perk from? I don't pay that much attention to those kind of non-tactical details.

You'll see in my character layout video soon why that's not practical for me, alas, it does look like a nice perk to have...@@Gitsmasher
