I enjoy your tutorials! Thanks for the reminder about the hourglass block. It makes such a cute table topper or baby quilt or even a bed-size quilt, as long as the contrast is there.
Thanks so much! I love your tutorials, and this block and design are so cute. Do you have a tutorial on making that fillette? Pardon the spelling if it’s incorrect. Thanks!
Nice tutorial, thank you. I didn't know you could simply use the edge of your foot as a guide for 1/4" sewing, but what foot were you using and is that true for all makes/models of sewing machines? Yes, I'm a beginner at this! I want to make this and hopefully will be easy using a charm pack. Thank you again.🙂
Bernina has a very nice quarter inch foot (can’t remember the number). But all other brands have a quarter inch foot, too and they are much more reasonably priced. For this block, the seam allowance doesn’t really have to matter as long as you keep sewing all the blocks the same way and square up the blocks after being sewn andbefore being sewn together! 😊
Love your easy to follow tutorials, Katrina.😊
I am new to this but find your videos very informative and encouraging

I found I get better results if I square up the blocks. It makes sewing them together much easier.
Absolutely! I saw many blocks that just didn’t match together - I’ve always been a “square up” type of person (my slight OCD showing😁)
Love you videos Katrina ❤❤❤
Cuteness overload with a mini charm pack! Thanks for sharing
Nice and quick, but very adorable table topper. Thank you Katrina for sharing with us. 👍❤️🙂
I liked this Moda Twinkle fabric so much, I found a Layer Cake of it I’m going to purchase😁😁
That's a cute little hourglass quilt ⌛. Thank you for the video 😊 🇺🇲
Love this quilt block, thank you.
thank you Katrina - really lovely little quilt
Thank you so much. Seems so qyick and easy. I plan on making this pattern for my 9yr old niece.
I see you have a 570 now. I have one as well. You should get in the habit of using the knee lift, it’s a great feature!! Love the hourglass pattern!!
Great tutorial
Nice quilt 😍. Thank you for sharing.

Hello, here's a video we've made on How to Insert Fillets: ua-cam.com/video/PLWsixZ4ECY/v-deo.html
So cute, I am looking for the May postcard but can't find it x

Thanks Sandy, Katrina says the foot she was using was a #97, but Bernina also do #57 and this has a guide on the right hand side.
Hi. What foot are you using?
Hello, Katrina was using a #97.
