I was unpacking from a market last Saturday and I thought I saw a small plushy fall out of a basket out of the corner of my eye, but when I checked the driveway I didn't see anything. A few minutes later when I was inside the house I realized my dog had something in his mouth. He'd picked up the fallen corn boi (your pattern) and run off with it! No damage, but very drooly.
Oh noooo! Haha I actually had the same thing happen with one of my baby mushrooms when my puppy was teething, the plushie was ruined because she had just lost a tooth 😬 it was covered in blood from her gums 🥲
Girl, tell me why I LOVED watching you crochet those chickens?! So satisfying to me! I often get comments because I, too, use my scissors to poke the yarn tails into my projects; I’m so happy to see another person do it! 😉 Fun video with wonderful yarn haul! Yay! Thank you, Cassie, for posting and sharing with us. Hugs… 🧡 ps: I definitely plan to use your yarnalot link/code next time I order yarn! Thank you!
Awww thanks for using my code Lisa! You're such a sweetheart 🫶 and yes! I find using my scissors to push the yarn in is so much easier than using my hook or a needle. It saves me so much time!
If you have a Michael’s near you, they have loops and threads purl and skinny chenille. Very similar to Big Twist Baby Bear. They have darker colors if you want.
Big Twist Posh is my favorite to work with right now. I just wish they had more color options and was able to stay in stock more often. It's ALWAYS out of stock.
Let us know how the Big Twist yarn is! I still haven't tried any of their plush yarn, I'd like to get some though. Also, how do you make those popper mushrooms? Do you just not stuff a certain part of it? I've never made one but I've been curious about them.

Thank you! I have a Michael's that's a similar distance from my house, but it's almost always picked through when I visit 😶
@ wait until they have a sale and order online. 😀
The first chickens are made with Bernat Blanket, I have the same one
Cute!

Yeah I've noticed that too sometimes that I can't find any!
I go to the JoAnn in Des Moines very time I drive up to visit my family. It is better than the one close to me.
Very cool! ✨

You don't stuff the cap or the stem to the cap at all!
when I use posh, It comes out to the same size as parfait chunky. I haven't had the chance to try baby bear yet, it just never stocks.
Oh interesting! It looks a little smaller to me, but maybe I'm wrong! I haven't used it yet but am super excited to.
