Good day Charlie and the team,, awesome videos for this week, we had a great duck shooting season this year in North Island of New Zealand, water level was low but good numbers. Thanks for great show for this week, thumbs up for all and greetings to all from Down Under,, Tony.
Really enjoyable show tonight, thanks. Great to see Roy back (complete with EDL hair cut) and it will be interesting to see if any names get put forward for the chance of winning one of Roy's 16 week old tiercels. What a generous prize..... Rezina Russian Roulette, perhaps, sticking with the Russian theme. I think the falcon training and racing series is a brilliant idea and am looking forward to it starting. Keep up the good work!
Nice work by everyone again.Would never have thought that ducks would like potatoes! But you use what you can.Our duck season has finished but had a good time putting some game meat in the freezer despite the low bag limit. The thermal image gear has come along in leaps and bounds just in the last few years.A great story on Roy's falconry and good to see him on the show.Carry on with the great work and keep the dream alive from Australia.
Thanks again for the mention Charlie, it was good talking to you's at Shanes Castle hope you enjoyed the donuts and left some for the wee lass. Oh could you tell James Marchington it actually a .17 Hornet not a .22 Hornet. Take care hay.
All the passion and proud comes from the fine makers of guns and all other design items comes or derive from that sculpting, one who understood that and was proud of that was a unlikely source for some ,but he saw the guns and field it as a natural and beatufil creative source for inspiration for his craft. And that guy was Karl Lagerfeld.
Possibly a question that won't be well received... But... Research in South Africa has shown that when hunted, black backed jackal tend to breed younger and have larger broods. Also, their social structure is disturbed, so the dynamics between breeding alpha pairs and subordinate non-breeding pairs fall away. Could it be that foxes have something similar? Total thumb-suck here, as I know blow-all about foxes, other than that they're furry... So put away the pitchforks (for now)...
I know a lot of 'keepers whack the youngsters and leave the old dog on the ground as they know the animal and help him hold his territory for a year or two. Better the devil you know and all that. Or, they used to with thermal, it could just be that everything is taken. I'm guessing that this year, with every poult a prisoner, most if not all shoots will have a shoot on sight policy for furred and feathered predators.
