There’s many ways to save time and make your notes look good, for example, you can quickly jot down notes while your in class, but once you get home, you can rewrite the notes, and take your time. That way you are revising and reviewing, and having something pretty to look over:)))

I always write with one pencil and that's it... Sometimes use black gel pen and yup... I don’t know if it helps but can u use OneNote? You can also easily do similar color coding on it.
