Do you know what would happen if they put up hand-washing stations and comfortable chairs
in front of ANY American supermarket?
Yes, the hand washing station would be full of poop and the chairs stolen.
Please this is embarrassing to us Americans.
Russell you should visit America and show our supermarkets.
Warning: make sure you have all your shots and bring some antibiotics would be a smart idea.
You even say the taxi drivers that dropped people off, get out and refresh for a few minutes at the sinks.
...and stolen chairs and umbrellas will be sold just around the corner...

The little bananas grow in North Queensland. We call them sugar bananas, common bananas, or sometimes river bananas. You don't see them much in supermarkets, but people's backyards are full of them.

Could you go to North Korea and Vietnam and show us the markets there? Russia just signed many agreements with both countries and I understand that Russia is already developing “Hyper-Markets”.

It is. 3-hour 20-minute flight to Perth from Bali. But we are only staying here in Bali. My family came here also to have a holiday all together.

Hi Russell, huge fan of your work. Could we see an update on sporting brands sold in Russia? There was a controversy with Decathlon for selling goods to the new Desports stores... Do they still have Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Champion, Puma, New Balance, Ellesse in their Sneaker Box, Sport Master, Urban Vibes, LaModa Sports and Famil stores? I'd love to see an update from that sports stores you filmed two years ago.

Russia is GREATEST nation! We have several “Hyper-Markets” too. Our recent agreements with North Korea and Vietnam indicate that Russia will be developing many more “Hyper-Markets” and high speed trains! Russian leadership is the envy of the world.

I have shopped at Grand Lucky before, but since I usually stay on Jl Tamblingan in Sanur, Arte Sedana and Popular Market are more convenient for me. Also The Pantry for gourmet items. I'm in Bali right now, but up in Amed.
I am now in Gili Air as i am typing this. The Arte Sedana store was only about 50 meters from where we stayed. My mum loved that store. And an easy walk back to there hotel.

Russell, they have lots of different bananas, including the "Big Mike" (Gros Michel) which is basically extinct in the West. For the most part, almost all bananas in USA are "Yellow Cavendish" and they are not nearly as good as some of the other varieties you will find there. I bet you could do a whole vid just on the different bananas found in that area.

The first week was in Sanur, not far from this store. And now I am on Gili Air for 2 weeks. Much quieter's and more remote.
