Mutawatir is not how far the hadith spread but that large amounts of people narrated it to a similar large amount of people search that it is impossible that they would have all agreed to lie about it. Mutawatir ahadith are very few in number. The practice of the people of Madinah is different to Mutawatir.
He had hundreds of teachers, do we have to mention them each and everytime? And infact we do mention him. Also Imam Jafar Rah was Imam Malik’s Rah teacher for as far as I recall two years. Imam Jafar and Imam Malik both praised each other, we’ve praised Imam Jafar Rah for his knowledge, he’s also a narrator in our Hadith, longest Hadith in Sahih Muslim about Hajj includes Imam Jafar as a narrator in the sanad. Imam Jafar was a great scholar from AhlusSunnah and his maternal grandfather was Qasim Ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr As Sideeq(AS), one of the great 7 jurists of Medina, and he was taught by his Aunt Aisha AS. He’s been mentioned by many scholars in their books like Imam Adh Dhahabi in Siyar Alam An Nubala and Ibn Taymiyya to name a few.

Not exactly incorrect. Just incomplete. Your answer is correct as well but also incomplete as there are many more requirements than just 10 people in every طبقات such as خبر حسي but his answer was just an overview and a summarized Ta'reef. Mutawatir hadith are mass-transmitted and widely spread but what are the nitty gritty details and what are the requirements for a Mutawatir hadith weren't mentioned by him probably due to time constraints as to keep the answer shortened and concise.
