- In this video, we go over what I believe to be the most powerful Spider-Man suits in the history of Marvel Comics.
▸ Sometimes student, sometimes scientist and sometimes photographer, Peter Parker is a full-time super hero better known as the web-slinging and wall-crawling Spider-Man. As an orphaned child, Peter was raised by his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. At a science expo, Peter was bitten by an errant radioactive spider which granted him an array of arachnid powers. He initially became Spider-Man to use his powers as an entertainer, growing so conceited he didn't bother stopping a passerby burglar. In a twist of fate, the same burglar wound up killing Peter's Uncle Ben, leading him to realize that he needed to use his powers responsibly. From then on, Spider-Man became a crime-fighting vigilante.

Peter merging the 2099 suit tech with modern day cutting edge tech makes sense cause the 2099 suit is literally just a Halloween costume so adding gizmos and ballistic proofing to it is genius

Spider Armor Mk IV is personally one of my favorite Spider suits based on its incorporation of nano tech, Parker tech and durability. It was basically played on the possibility of what if Peter had access to Stark level resources.
Love that suit so much, it looks so good! I love the slight glow on the chest spider and eyes

Still one of my all time favorite moments in comics. During Civil War when Tony revealed the iron spider suit was taking down his spidey's data...tony revealing he knows about his "spidey sense" so good.

The spider armor MK 1 might be my favorite. I believe if it was written today it wouldn’t add too much weight for someone with super strength.

I always wondered why the iron spider suit only had 3 arms on his back. I loved the future foundation and superior suits, but the Scarlet Spider original will always be my favorite. It's Ben I know, really they're all cool to me
So about miguel's base costume, it was just a really durable store bought costume, so even if it's from the future it doesn't have anything crazy like an iron man suit or even the spider armor mark.iv peter was rocking at the time, so i can see it getting an upgrade in present times being valid

Personally as a kid of the late 80's and 90's... The Crimson Spider suit. Just something about that blue hoodie thrown on top of a red suit. It was simple and I liked it. Still so some 30 years later.

@@UnifiedEntity personally I disagree as he needed Oscorp tech to develop both his web shooters and webfluid as opposed to Tom Holland Peter who created both himself from just junk he had available. That said no movie has come close to showing how intelligent he truly is.
And they never will. Directors will always want to put their creative input in rather than use what’s available from the source material. Insomniac Spiderman 2 ironically did the story Amazing Spiderman wanted to do, and did it right.
Didn't Peter make a whole new suit and web shooter after Tony passed away. And left him this machine to make basically anything😂that big thing that busted through happys apartment.. still stark tech. But he used his head to make it. But yeah..that's why I always thought that having his web shoot out of him kind of nullified that need to be super smart in Makin his suits and so on.. because webshooters are insanely high-tech to be able to use and work right.
Funny is the idea for the Symbiote suit is actually based on a idea that a writer/artist had for Iron Fist comics, as the artist was getting annoyed drawing a broken suit in detail everytime, he wanted a self healing suit.
missing special mentions of Spidey's non-Spider-Man suits like the Dusk, Hornet, Prodigy, Ricochet suits.
I wonder how many in-universe “upgrades” for various heroes came from artists tiring of drawing something.

So...like many, you seem to underestimate Spidey's strength in his standard form. according to the first generation of Marvel collector cards, Spider-Man is capable of lifting up to 40 tons.
That's way back in the day, recently he lifted things way heavier than 60 tons like a landing plane or that heavy thing underwater

Captain Universe suit was the most OP version of Spidey. Iron Soider is my fav tho .
Spider armor mk1 will always be my favorite suit. When I first saw it in the 90s Spiderman cartoon spiderverse event, I was instantly Hoooked!!
Brooo, that was the first armor I ever seen from the first activision spiderman game. I remember finding the "power up" to the mk 1 in a goblin base a bit off the map during the helicopter chase

The MK1 is my all time favorite. Second is the Iron Spider. Third I really like the Superior Spider-Man suit. As far as the game goes I want to get the Fantastic Four suit proper with the mask.

The mcu doesn’t make sense to me when it came to stark and outfitting the avengers. So he makes this super high tech nanotech suit for a kid that could technically one shot captain america with his bare hands, who has a healing factor that lets him heal from fractured bones in hours or less. And even though stark and shield both have access to things like extremis (which by later dates is perfected with the genetic material of two different inhumans to stabilize it), multiple variants of the super soldier serum, as well as artificial means of creating super powers, none of the normal human heroes ever get any enhancements, and start never makes them anything aside from fancy super hero versions of their shield combat suits, military gear, or normal clothes like scarlet witch. Stark never tries to make black widow or Hawkeye advanced versions of their suits. He doesn’t even make an advanced bow for him! His one power is perfect aim with a bow, yet no one makes him a super high tech bow. He does make falcon some fancy stuff but that’s about it. At minimum every avenger should have enhanced strength, extremis healing factor, and high tech armor and weapons. It doesn’t have to be crazy either. A hard light arrow firing bow. More advanced stingers and armor made to complement her crazy fighting style climbing all over people. Falcon shouldn’t use normal pistols. Against aliens? Really? And both thor and dr. Strange should be sharing some of their knowledge with the avengers. Same for wakandans, eternals, inhumans, and talokanil. Making the avengers way stronger, and humans in general as well.
The anime armor in the first game had me feelin like kamen rider.
Imagine if the bombastic paper bag spidy suit was available in the new spidy2 video game as a skin lol
Kind of understandable how tech from the golden age of Super Heroees in Miguel’s time would be considered an upgrade to his suit. Gotta remember Alchemax may have taken over but that is only possible in a world where Stark is dead.
An honorable mention could be the Slingers suits that Spidey wore when he was on the run and had to don different personas with their own unique costumes; Dusk, Hornet, Ricochet, and Prodigy!

The iron spider suit was provided by tony stark after the death and "re birth" of spider man at the hands of a powerful enemy, he came back with new abilities and due to MJ fearing he could be hurt again stark devices a suit that could pair with his new abilities. Peter came back more spider than man. He only looked like a man but his vision his senses and even new claw/fang like daggers weapons pop from beneath his wrist's, he could even feel vibrations in spider web. So adding to that now a suit with super high tech he was a the peak of his game during that period.

My favorite suit is the beyond suit. Spider-Man is at his best when he doesn't have a billion little gadgets to rely on. The suit enhances powers he already has. Instead of a little spider-bot that shoots out of his ass which creates a frickin black hole.... actually I take that back. If he had a suit that did that, then that would be my new favorite lmao.
