This film should be shown to teach women how to recognize toxic abusive relationships. The male lead is toxic, controlling, and manipulative. Even when he “realizes he was wrong” he continues to do nothing but bully, threaten, and manipulate the female lead forcing her to stay with him by threatening her family. It’s honestly disgusting. He should have been in prison for the rest of his life!

You have to love that the evil woman literally says to the male lead “listen carefully, I will never let you go” at 2:38:33 - which mirrors the way he treats the female lead! I only wish that someone forced HIM through all the abuse and torture he subjected the female lead to throughout the drama. And both of them should be in prison.

Me too. Although I am happy that the last scene of that ML and evil sea monkey is them quarreling and not getting married. The look on his face when he just notices that his beloved FL has left the building and won't be back. That look is priceless! Her last scene of being in the sunlight and walking towards her future with that elder lady (aunt? Mom?) and nit looking back is just sweet. I hope that future includes the 2nd ML who always believed in her and loved her.

The actors that play the ML and FL are one of my favorite show couples- they really know how to work off each other and individually they’ve only improved.
ML can play a toxic, abusive d-bag well, well enough to hate the character he portraying but he also know how’s to do the sweet, devoted, humor roles however he can still improve on his “romance” scenes but.. it’s improved since his early work so you can definitely tell he is taking his role’s seriously.
FL can portray a timid, weak, not so confinement woman well but she can also play a confident, independent woman well and is also only getting better over time.
I love when she is paired up with this ML and another one because they do so well together and bring the characters they portraying to “life” to which you are either are booing or rooting.
They both done great. 💜
I believe that any decent male actors need to take a stance and buoy cot these dramas where they perform such brutalised acts on the FL constantly. It only tarnishes their image.

It’s because she is a decent human being (unlike the male lead and the female antagonist) and they use her decency and love of her family (her dad, her brother, etc) to manipulate her because she will sacrifice herself to try to keep them safe (not that it works sadly).
@stephanien6237 I agree about the ML and the antagonist, but there must be a way for the FL not to end up sacrificing her dignity at every turn.
Sometimes, many people has to go through many hardships, and surviving them can be a lot more important than dignity, but please for the love of God, give the FL a little more backbone or strength or whatever you want to call it.
It's shameful the abuse female leads suffer, many at the hand of their ML.

Por otra parte esta bien que la FL no haya terminado con el ML.

Режиссеры и сценаристы как будто соревнуются, кто сильнее и извращеннее покалечит главную героиню. Здесь хотя бы конец порадовал, она ушла от этого мужа-маньяка. So this movie has the dumbest plot I have seen. This guy is not only violent and sexually abusive, he had somebody hit her and kidnapped her brother. He also continually lets the mistress get away with hurting her after he knows how she is, yet never investigated her. Then grandma didn't know she was being abused but when she does tries to emotionally blackmail her to go back to him. There is so much more I could say, but make it make sense.

Normalizing the battering, mistresses and killing just makes me sick. Atleast this one ended the way it should. How come almost all the genre of the web series done by these actors like this? One, if you are a woman who married for whatever reason, you are not legally tied to your husband with an iron fist. If you are abused emotionally, mentally especially physically, you have the right to leave and free yourself. You can even file a case if you want. If you have kids, it is not just the better option but the best option. Letting your children live in a house full of violence will twist their innocent minds. They might grow up thinking it is normal and do the same thing to their partners and to their children. Or they grow up full of trauma or worse, receive any beating they get and say that they derserve it. Kids' support is dictated by the law. And most of all, s/he can file a visitation right if s/he realy has the heart of a parent. Don't sacrifice your God given life/lives on thinking about reputation, financial stability or whatever, especially love. Because beating someone you love just like a punching bag or talking to someone you love without respect and dignity aren't part of the real definition of love. YOU HAVE ALL THE RIGHT IN THE WORLD TO LIVE BETTER AND BE GINUINELY HAPPY WITH THE PEOPLE WHO TRULY LOVES AND CARES FOR YOU. Don't waste the years of your life on a violent, toxic and/or unfaithful person especially when you have forgiven them not only once or twice but multiple times yet they never change.
