How To Do Heart Rate Based Cardio In Groups For Best Results

    At Vigor Ground we use heart rate and HRV recovery based conditioning so it's individualized to the client, EVEN if they're in a group setting.
    I share and show a way that we do this in groups with a live heart rate monitor. Although I wanted to show myself getting in the red zone, it would have took me some warm up sets (which we do quite a bit of in our training), but ended up doing mid blue-green intervals, which is also a method we use (there are 14 different methods we use with heart rate conditioning based on individualized heart rate zones).
    The key here is demonstrating, and understanding, not all cardio is the same, and we have to assess the person and determine goals to then individualize and adjust their cardio to their training goals (hint: many people do too much high intensity conditioning, and never track their cardio).

    This training makes sense for the individual but its so powerful in groups and still being able to customize training rather than having the same "cookie cutter" model for everyone.

    Not ragging.. with respect. The KB swings... seem kinda low..again alllllll love.. just askin.. what is the reason for the shorter range of motion.. like the principle behind the workout though

      I'm mindful of my back (rehabbing it) so keeping swings in a range that feels comfortable.
