You’ve been in the right places at the right time ..that’s an art..never experienced so much water falling from the sky as South East Asia mid year ..and then things dry out ..our cyclones are typhoons over there ..and isn’t a monsoon like the wet ,like in India and the top end of Australia ..?KohRong Islands down south are fabulous ..go there before the Chinese ruin things with over sized developments..they buy the whole beach ..pity
They can be fabulous here when viewed from the outside. Inside is a different matter. Currently in Kampot, tall empty buildings going up here now, yet still retains it's character for the time being. Water table is so low this year, bring on the storms!
Lots of good comments of appreciation here, I get it, but one constructive observation is due: You strive hard to make the video correspond to the music (and you do a great job of that), but it would be greatly appreciated if you would let the weather scenes RESOLVE. Let us see the RESULTS of the weather formation instead of suddenly jumping to another storm in the making just when something is about to happen! Thank you. Doug

How you track tropical storms..?It is very difficult to monitor invidual thunderstorms in tropics..How you managed to capture thunderstorms?Anyhow awesome video
Pot luck! They bubble up from nowhere. After the tropical depressions from the east we get a bit of consistence early evening Sep/Oct. It can be a fantastic display, as long as it is not on top of you.
i know it may sound ridiculous, but what the heck was that at 2:07 on the top right corner, looks like something insanely fast was passing by, even with 0.25 speed, still looked very fast to me whatever it was.

Had to sleep in this crap, on the ground, rolled up in a blanket, inside a shelter half, inside a poncho. (Like a turducken) Using my web gear as a pillow. I was 19 years old, 12,000 miles from home so why not ? Yes, I got wet.....I was in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. The other guy on our outpost was wide awake so I was able to sleep. Very noisy.
