These videos are so great. This one in particular is what my army is supposed to look like lol. Since I don't use an airbrush, I replace those steps with sponging or stippling as best I can.

do you have a recommendation for a air compressor? I have one with a tank but it seems to fail to give me a "steady" psi, instead bursting higher and then settling lower so I often get big bursts of paint if that makes sense?

Ermmm as far as compressors go, I only have a cheap one from Amazon. Think it cost about £80. But there are some good ones on there ✌🏼
This is awesome. I had similar results starting with Incubi Darkness and then Vallejo Scurvy Green.. I was trying to capture the story of when the Dark Angels switched from black to green. Like how some old photos, (under or overexposed?), the black looks greenish blue? Look up the story of White Dwarf 117 cover vs the actual painting.. I'll keep working on it, as they still came out a bit too green for me. Keep up the great work!

Super weird but the paint you use from AK which looks like the bottle says AK11144 is a totally different colour in the 3rd gen. More liken a forest green called Emerald. Can you suggest an alternative as it looks more teal colour.
Yea i purposely chose the teal, but check out my other dark angel videos for different recipes

Is Ak Esmerald the same as AK 11144 Emerald? Or is is a discontinued paint? Can’t find it anywhere online

AK Esmerald isnt available anymore. Is it the same color as AK Emerald? Because AK Emerald is more Green and esmerald more turquoise.

Hi mate, this is fantastic. The way you’ve totally muted the edge highlights is really stark at first but the result is fantastic when your eyes adjust. Absolutely love your channel, always such an education.
