Hindi and urdu are different languages As a hindi speaker i cringe evrytime people think they r similar yes we have loan words from urdu but hinfi is mostly sanskritt ! Bollywood is promoting urdu for muslim audience mayvbe but as a hindi speaker i can say bollyeood hindi is more urdu
