Hey, Todd. Looks like a nice place to stop for lunch between murals and craft shops. Dutch apple used to be my favorite kind of pie. I remember when Dannon made a Dutch apple yogurt. Do I remember those antique Coca-Cola machines and rotary phones? Well, let's just say I'll be 73 next week... I'm an antique too! By the way, the green melon is honeydew.
Yes, honeydew melon. You may understand, sometimes the words just don't come...even though you know. It's frustrating sometimes, but I just try to not worry about it, enjoy every day and every moment as much as I can, and not worry about it. Be well and happy Ms., and thank you.
Yeah, we thought is was a major advancement in technology when phones got push buttons instead of rotary dial, and then no long after, the cordless phone. It was AMAZING to be able to walk around the house with the phone, talk, and no cord. Could not have even fathomed what we have today!
Howdy Todd. Good looking place. Interesting decor. Pie? I can’t go there. 😂 Your meal looks great! Hope you enjoyed! Fruit looked fresh. Go Cubs! 11:42
No pie for me either Dennis, maybe someday, but I really don't crave such things anymore. They did have a special of Chicken and Dumplings, THAT was a tad tempting, but I held up and only had 1/2 a sandwich and 4 pieces of fruit. The folks at Top Floor Cars got the rest of the fruit and my son gladly devoured the other half of the sammie. I've learned I don't need to eat until I can't eat any more. "Full" is not a requirement to be sated. I love that you are "back in the saddle" my friend. It truly warms my heart.
Yes Calvin, I think if you were ever in Brenham you'd like Must Be Heaven, and you'd like Dairy Bar which is really a burger joint. They have a GREAT cheeseburger, I feel about them like you do about Woody's. It's a good old-fashioned type burger with fresh vegetables and awesomeness, they recently went up from $3.85 to $4.15 for a cheeseburger due to inflation, and were apologetic about it. Amazing!, you can't find such places or people much anymore. I am going to do a video there soon, AND I am going to Woody's one of these days. I hope you can join me.
Really cool place, love it and love all the classic memorabilia ❤
Reminds me of the malt shop when I was growing up. My grandfather had a black phone like that with a party line
Oh, the "party line". We could talk about that, some interesting and funny things came out of those days...eh?
Believe that green melon is Honeydew. Nice job.
Yes! Thank you.
