Great video. I also follow you on Instagram and really enjoy seeing your work. I look forward to seeing your approach to "cutting the ears" on the seat. Big fan, keep the videos coming. Thanks.
Could you do a ground seat video? I made my first saddle with a tunnel style ground seat. I built the front as low and smooth as I could, but it still wound up too high. I am confused as to the best way to do it lower and more balanced. Some instructions I saw seemed way overcomplicated. Should I order the tree without the risers on the bars to build a lower more balanced seat? Videos like yours have saved me a lot of ruined leather.
Don you are the best in leather work industry , I like your saddles and the way you color them , how much do you charge for saddle with floral patterns ?
Dumb question here. On a rough out seat like that do you sand the rough down some before you put it on the tree or do you just leave it? I have been thinking on building me 1 & don't know for sure what to do on that. I assume you do not oil it like a slick seat when finished. Ain't never built 1 but I figured it's time to learn.
Wow! I always wondered how a saddle was made. I knew there was a lot of work that goes into it. Amazing to watch it go together.
What excellent work, Sir!!
