This was my first time flying on Frontier and as seen in the video you get what you pay for!!

I fly frontier about 15-20 times a year, and they’ve definitely changed a lot over the years. Up until about five years ago, the seats were really comfy, and every seat had a PTV. They ran into some financial problems and that’s when they started refitting their planes with those thin seats, got rid of tv’s, no WiFi, etc. Their low fares keep me coming back though haha. Flying to Denver from Norfolk next week, and only paid $80 roundtrip, so I usually just end up sucking it up!
And in regards to it being a smooth landing describe being a low cost carrier, remember that in the US, most airlines have the same requirements as others, regardless of whether or not they’re lost cost. Many of the pilots I know in the Air Force have gone on to fly for Frontier :)

Here in Ireland it’s done on most flights. Usually here we only use air bridges on bigger aircraft. Anything smaller than an a330 and your almost certain of boarding by stairs.

Going to Denver from Knoxville and from there to Palm Sripngs tomorrow. I've been kinda stressing since I've never heard of the airline and thought it'd have worn out and dangerous planes but I've been searching on the internet and see 90% of reviews are good. Now i can rest easy tonight.
It's a pretty good experience, if you don't want to be seated at the back of the plane don't check in at the 24hr. Keep watching the seat chart on the app or wherever and when the back is filled just check in👌👌 also bring your own snack or you'll be paying a lot for them on board and buy your drink from in the airport. Only one cup of water is free😂😂😂

what do you mean "smooth landing for a budget airline"? is is supposed to be a really bad landing bc its a low cost carrier????? the pilots and flight attendants are trained just as legacy carrier crews are!!!

Well, budget airlines usually land hard on the runway. That’s because when the plane lands at the very beginning of the runway, what may seem hard, but touching down at the beginning of the runway allows the aircraft to get off the runway earlier and save time taxing to the gate instead of landing smooth but vacating the runway much later and taking more time taxing to the gates.
I wish I’m that lucky on the airplane to have a whole 3 chairs to myself on airplane and I wish I’m that lucky like you.

That's considered super cheap shit now but in the 80s that was standard economy.
