Sometimes you need to think outside the box.
This all makes sense, and i see your point about behind the scenes, but i also understand how some fans would be upset because of the history of the characters .... all the horrible things that were done. I disagree. It´s the constant teen scenes with supposed adults that is dragging the show down. RM not being there anymore has actually bettered the show. He was such a wooden actor, his scenes were cringe worthy to watch over the years. John McCook,Susan Flannery, JJ and KKL made those scenes interesting. Notice that with Lane Davis and Thorsten Kaye in the role of Ridge, B&B has had a lot of storylines centerted around the character but with the character as well. RM never really did have SLs like leading men on other soaps has had over the years. And it´s his lack of acting abillity that made it so, Thorsten Kaye is a wonderful addition to the show and has made the role his own. Ridge is interesting for the first time ever.
@@monicablom4231 I agree. The show started declining around 2011/2012 when the focus shifted to the younger characters, and the veterans were put on the back burner. IMO the show has never truly recovered. The constant Hope/Liam/Steffy story dragged the show down. I agree about Thorsten Kaye, he is a far better actor than Ronn Moss and has made the character way more likeable. Also 2012-2013 was a huge transition for the show as far as cast changes. Nick and Jackie left first, then Ridge, then Stephanie, then in 2013 Steffy followed by Taylor. I know most of those characters eventually came back but during this time period is when the show really changed.
@@brendanbressler9807 I agree. The re-intoduction of the Spencer Clan shower promise but killing Bill pdf was a bit mistake, I think. Brad Carlton as Bill Jr really don't do it för this viewer or B&B as a while. He än Vicky should return back home to Genoa City .
@@monicablom4231 Yes they've heavily focused on his character too much. Too many storylines have been all about Bill. He will never be the true Bill Spencer. I always thought it was strange that Bill jr. just appeared out of thin air, obviously he was created then and there. Never mentioned before in the show. The original Spencer clan was FAR better. I know Karen didn't come on til the early 90s but I still consider her an original Spencer.
I only started watching Bold and Beautiful in 2010 so I don't even have near the history with Stephanie that longer viewers of the show have but man, this broke me into a million pieces.
I love this episode! Wish Stephanie stayed longer! I heard back then...Days of our Lives actress (Susan Seaforth Hayes) was originally to play Stephanie...if she had played her...we wouldn't have this episode right here. She would have continue playing her and also play Julie Williams on Days on recurring.
I think at this time, Ronn Moss had already known he was going to be let go or his screen time reduced for newer ppl. So he was written as "missing" or consumed with grief over his mom, and anger because of Brill. Makes no sense cause he'd never miss his mother, Queen Stephanie's funeral for no one or nothing.
I remember feeling the same way when this aired. Ridge should have said goodbye to Stephanie on-screen. It would have brought more drama between Brooke and Ridge. Maybe he could have watched Stephanie and Brooke finally make up but is too torn that Brooke has feelings for Bill and decides to quietly leave again.

Also odd that Bridget didn't make an appearance for the party...🤔 There was a time when Stephanie was very much a rock for Bridget, especially during the time when Bridget found out her mom had not only slept with Bridget's husband Deacon but was carrying his baby as well...
This right here was the true epitome of the friendship that took decades to build and yet a second to treasure ♥️ Stephanie Forester showed grace throughout this entire time period with Brooke Logan that made me finally understand the depth of these two significant women with different backgrounds yet the same love of one another♥️ Queen Stephanie your wish, dreams and promises that you asked of Brooke all came true♥️ Brooke took your family and made an entire history of love, devotion, compassion and trust through and through♥️ Stephanie you would be proud of Brooke Logan Forester the true essence of a matriarch of yourself with the family you blessed her with♥️♥️♥️
I am not sure you could compare the two. Stephenie was a good woman. Brooke can be shady. Stephenie wouldn't approve of how Brooke treats her son or granddaughter for that matter.
If you have been following bold and the beautiful since 1987 you would have known the truth why Stephanie and Brooke are actual two of a kind. Stephanie saw herself in Brooke that scared her yet could also destroy her family. Stephanie was no good woman at all, maybe when it got close too her dying and the only woman she chose to be near her was the one woman she was at odds with for decades. Brooke Logan not Taylor. Taylor was weak and still is. Brooke is a fighter that has no held bounds when it comes to fighting for family and the business. Ridge Forester is no Forester, he is a Maroney by Massimo himself from the affair with Stephanie during her college years when she cheated behind Eric Forester back. It was at that very moment when Brooke’s mother was asked by Eric if he could see her more. Stephanie felt threatened and told Eric she was pregnant with his son. Wow! Ironic isn’t it considering Steffy pulled the same exact things when Liam was ready to marry Hope on his back porch of his home and Steffy shows up to stop the wedding along with Taylor to tell Liam she is pregnant smh. Ridge himself was no saint and Eric knew that. Yet Eric knew the moment Ridge laid eyes on Brooke at the mansion by the pool when Ridge mistaken Brooke as Caroline Spencer. Stephanie saw Brooke on her wedding day to Ridge at the mansion for the last time and told Brooke how proud of her she is. It’s interesting too see the diversity of the Logan’s and the Forester’s yet still two bloodlines joined as one and created powerhouses between the two including Bill Spencer with his Forester shares as well.
@@ronnettegossett1677 another false and ridiculous comment from a delusional and blindsided Brookehoe lover! Caroline sr. was and will always be Ridge's true love of his life!
The best TV matriarch EVER to have graced our screens. The UK Soap female leads don't hold a candle to Stephanie Firewater.
Would love if they bring Stephanie back. Even if it’s a new person playing her. Loved her and Brooke’s fights.
Quinn looks like she's has Stephanie's crown
@@malcolmgeorge1180 honestly I haven’t really watched this show since 2013. I think I have seen Quinn.
So Ronn Moss couldn't b in this last episode..the dynamic relationship with Ridge and Stephanie. He couldn't do one more scene!!! How dare they!!??
So untruely sad
I never understood either, why they couldn't talk him into one more episode esp. this one and no Bridget either.
Exactly
I like the original theme song from the late 80s and 90s
Gregory Adam my favourite Thomas
He looked like he could be Ridge and Taylor's real life son.
Awww beautiful episode and sad
This made me cry and think 🤔😢more about my life
I still break seeing this scene.
Oh the music.... makes me cry
They really couldn't drag ridge at least into one more episode??!!! This storyline is a trainwreck
after all this time it still kills me
I’m watching this. Bout two months since my own mom died and I can’t stop crying.
So sorry you are going thru your mother passing. Prayers for you and just know her presence is always with you
@@TraTraTraceyLynne thank you. So kind of you to respond
I didn't realize Stephanie and Brooke were so close
Aww boy, well I cried :(
This was a very sad episode 💔💔💔
Brooke said that they were all going to love each other but she barely tolerates Stephanie's grandchildren ; she lied to a dying woman
And the sad part is she help raise them.
@@daniellemason1398 did she actually care about them?
@@DAVegas-yc8xq At first it seem like she cared, but once Taylor came back from the dead for 100th time it was over.
@@daniellemason1398 and now Taylor is "too busy" to come see her kids for tje past 4 or 5 years, and they both almost died, Steffy had a baby and got married, Thomas had a pretty intense breakdown.... if Taylor had died again, she'd be back already
She helped raise them
And she loves them and care about them
But they are so ungrateful and bad mouthing her and hurt her and her family
So yes she has the right to not care anymore
But still she didn’t
She only sees them for what they really are and speak freely about Their issues
That is not hateful
This was handled so poorly Stephanie hated Brooke then all of the sudden shes her best friend.
This song is so pretty, it makes me cry 😢 I star thinking about my mother she passed away 💔 it broke my heart. But it was seeing her live the story.
Hating each other to loving each other loved the way the writers made them be friends after all those years hating wach other from a binding moment helping other people
natural beauty is the best. Look at Stephanie, she look amazing without plastic surgery.
I’m sitting crying like I really know Susan. But yesterday was 10 yrs since my mom left me with cancer. She died May 10th 2010 3 days after Mother’s Day
Sorry for your lost baby girl 😞
So sorry, joy comes the morning,my mother was diagnosed with cancer back in 2017.Thank God so far she survived.🌺
I wonder why they didn't have Thomas, Dayzee, Hope, and Rick hug Stephanie goodbye too.
I wondered the same thing
Beautiful episode and yet Hope still gave Steffy a snide look while Steffy was dancing.
I can't believe it's going on 10 years since Stephanie passed away. Even though I don't like Donna now, I'm glad that she was there and found out that Stephanie was dying.
I cry too
Can't hell it
It is the most intimate and compassionate scenes in all of their yrs. Stephanie is greatly! missed!
Too sad! RIdge (Ronn Moss) couldn't have been here! someone definitely was missing!
Poor KKL must be sick of crying for 30 plus years. lol
This was real crying for kkl, not her soap tears. Saying good bye to her dear friend susan Flannery leaving the showafter 25 years. It looked like they were all crying for real saying goodbye to her
@@janetferrari9188 Yes I am sure it was. I was just making a facetious comment because KKL seemed to make her living from crying on TBATB.
@@Romans8-9 i know, she cries in every scene, sometimes just out of one eye, lol. Yeah, she's got to be sick of it after all these years
Laughed when Rick said I’m a designer Pam ????? Who are you kidding Rick, you never designed anything, Amber was the artist, you just took the credit !!!!! Thomas I’d the designer !!!!
Also odd that Bridget didn't make an appearance for the party...🤔 There was a time when Stephanie was very much a rock for Bridget, especially during the time when Bridget found out her mom had not only slept with Bridget's husband Deacon but was carrying his baby as well...
This is the beginning of Brooke's betrayal of Katie
Brooke could never compete with her! Tridge was destroyed by Bell Jr. Taylor used to be strong, but he destroyed her character too, just to make Brooke look better! Because the blonde little tramp will always be the most selfcentred, manipulative and opportunistic character on daytime ever!
@@ronnettegossett1677 well said and it's all true !!!
@@booklover6198 Right!! Caroline was his true love!! And I agree with all that u said!
I just watch them in a group together my God it feels so nice I miss her really 🥰💕😙
Really hard to watch knowing that these are Susan Flannery's last days on BnB. What an actress, best ever.
