Meghalaya Minister to push for railway connectivity from Guwahati to Dhaka via Baghmara

While the Khasi Jaintia Hills region in Meghalaya may not be keen on railway connectivity, a proposal will soon be submitted to have a better railway link in Garo Hills. Border Area Development Minister Rakkam A Sangma informed that he will soon submit a petition to the centre through Chief Minister Conrad Sangma demanding railway connectivity from Guwahati to Dhaka via Baghmara.
